Yeah but... that's not so expensive, right? Over here it's 5 euros for a library card for one year. And I get to take books for free till I'm 18... won't be long anymore though...

 

actually here in the states its free, but for some reason we have to pay for almost everything else, including health care

I know, it's just whenever someone says that we Brits get 'free' healthcare I always think 'but it's not free!' It's actually more like a library, in the sense that you pay a set fee on a regular basis for as much usage as is allowed. Except there are no late fees. Only death.
