Someone got their poem published in a religious e-zine, and another member got a new cat. Can't remember who, though. Welcome back.

I'll be getting two new kitties in the spring! Though I don't think you're remembering me as I don't think I said anything on here yet.

Jon! I was thinking about you earlier today...I feel like I made you appear. ;)

I don't want to go to practice...I can't wait until I've been doing this long enough to not be nervous as hell about it every Monday...

    I hope I don't sound racist/offensive when I say this...

I noticed that in my games Mass Effect 1&2, Oblivion and Dragon Age, my MCs are black women.

And in my sci-fi novel, the captain of the ship (my protagonist) is a black woman.

    I just find it interesting.

Ah, raves... Glow sticks, sh*tty music, drugs, and underage girls with no self-confidence.
    Magnificent!

I use glow sticks for sleepovers, dear. I have self confidence enough! (and I'm not underage, I don't take drugs, and the music was absent)

My sister used to take glow sticks, break them, and then splatter her walls with the stuff when her friends were over.

Haha, we did that too- made drawings on the walls and shelves, and our toenails and arms and legs...

    Female protagonists? What is this??

    :p

They do that at raves, too? I thought it was just my parties...

Heh, yeah. I just like the idea of female protagonists kicking butt and saving the day. XD I'm a guy, yet I think everything's choke-full of male people running around saving the day.

Honestly, dude, I think that's totally cool. In my head, I am that female protagonist. I like to pretend that I'm tougher than I am.

    Sweet! =D

Um...I am not sure how to best word this, but I suppose it's just my hand-wringing paranoia coming to play again. I should just write the damned thing, print it out and give it to someone for critique. :D
