I am still not recovered from the Superbowl party yesterday. No I'm not hungover, didn't have any alcohols. But I am so very tired. But tired to the point where I don't think I'll have an easy time sleeping tonight. And that just sucks.
I got sick Saturday. And now it just won't go away. I was going to ask what Wagon Wheel is, but then I decided I didn't want it to get stuck in my head, so I changed my mind. It could be worse...could be Justin Beiber...
I was sick last week, so I know the feeling. Speaking of JB, you know that one commercial featuring him at the Superbowl? The one where the dude goes "He kind of looks like a girl"? Allegedly, this dude actually WAS Justin Bieber in a disguise..not making this up....
Sorry to hear that hidden! Hope you feel better. I also don't know what Wagon Wheel is... Not sure I'd like to know either, as it would be stuck in my head too. >.>' Edit: I think that was the best Superbowl commercial this year! I'd totally believe that was Bieber calling himself a girl too. The guy didn't look right at all. >.>'
Thanks for the well-wishes. It wouldn't be so bad (I don't mind missing work ), but I had to skip derby practice tonight, which bums me out. I have to admit, I'm not a fan of Justin Beiber's music, and his whole wanna-be gansta thing kind of bugs me, but he's a pretty funny kid. And he's not afraid to laugh at himself, which is more than one can say for a lot of the big stars today. If he doesn't get ruined as he gets older like so many famous young people have, he has potential.
Wagon Trail. I don't care. If you start caring about people that want you to care about what they think, then you might as well never publish a novel....ever.
Yep, total denial about what people think of you is the only way to become a successful writer. You just have to keep hammering and hammering until you find someone who'll listen just to make it stop. Wise words, Jam, wise words.
Maybe, I dunno. Seems like a whole lot of writers and other artists do what they do exactly because they want other people to like them, though like the desire for affluence this is perhaps an impure motive for creation. I think the best art is driven by a causeless and mysterious drive to create. Out of curiosity, what's everyone's beef with you? I noticed a while back that you were acting kinda trollish and that every thread that ended up getting shut down had you involved in it, but I haven't observed anything that bad from you recently, like in the last week or so. I frequent an MMA forum where trolling is like 50% of the posts there, though, so maybe I'm just immune.
MMA? Mixed Martial Arts? Trolling? I would have thought that discipline would rule in such a venue. Go figure....
Right? I'd think so too, but you have to remember that MMA's like a regular sport now; it's not just people from gyms and dojos following it anymore. Now it's got just as many fat armchair experts and obnoxious fans as any other sport.
