    ATS made my....

    I've got nothing.

Dude, I think my brain is broken. Our derby league has a fresh meat/old beef program, so new skaters have a vet who is sort of their mentor. One of our coaches gave me my old beef assignment tonight, and now I can't effing remember her name. :(

Give her a new nick name, then make her earn it.

Hahaha solid plan. I feel even worse about it because when Stella told me her name, I had NO idea who it was. I don't know everyone on the league, but I at least recognize their names...except, apparently, my mentor's.

Tomorrow is my first day at this office job, I get a cubicle too. I'm just getting ready, pressing my shirt, polishing my glasses ad curling my red stripe tie....my transformation into Dilbert has began.

It is unfathomable to me that congress wants to completely cut Planned Parenthood's budget. Totally beyond my comprehension.

As a Brit looking at America, I find it a bit odd that abortion/contraception/whatever is such a hot topic over there. Here abortion isn't (and I don't think has ever been) an election issue, or a serious political problem.

Most of the hate comes from the abortion part. But then the only real person I have seen really argue against planned Parenthood is a very vocal catholic. Who for the most part has gone pretty far and try and discredit PP and ignore the major benifits that they bring to women.

It is because the question of abortion still hangs in the air. It has been and probably will always be a problematic issue.

But planned parenthood doesn't use federal funds for abortions. True, they do perform a quarter of all abortions in the US, but the question should be "why do these people feel this is their only option?" Not "how do we close this place?"

John Stewart did a really funny bit about the attack on Planned Parenthood a couple of weeks ago. I'd link it but yknow...so just youtube it or something.

Yeah, office jobs...not my fave. What sort of work are ypu doing, though? Cutting up video streams sounds promising.

I remember that bit. :) Love it.

    Agreed.

Planned Parenthood also does a lot of good. They save millions of babies every year with the prenatal care they provide.
