I haven't seen such a awsome band ike this in a long time They rock! and are coming out with three new songs here soon Edit: I may have just finished a chapter (not sure yet)
Hrm, I like that much better. Go get 'em, Hidden! It's overbearingly hot in my room, I just stuffed my face with 5 slices of domino's pizza, and now I'm ready to write. As soon as I find some new music.
I'm writing right now....(with the usual Gazette music) Edit: ...I keep finding more awsome songs by them I will write through the predawn hours and try to make some progress....school may be tomorrow, but I'm still young, I can endure the loss of sleep and still make it through the next day.....
Anyone participating in Free Comic Book Day? I'm not too much of a DC junkie, but I love free stuff, and I love Robin, so I suppose I'll give it a go on the way home from my band contest. I have a flute solo, eeek!
Did it??? Aww, I was watching that thread with great interest...I thought it was going impressively well. Wait, Free Comic Book Day? I must learn more about this. It did! I was nervous driving over there, but I just kept reminding myself it was just like any other practice, and as soon as I got out onto the track, I was fine.
I thought it was going well too, but I could sense it was one of those threads that might easily explode, because the subject's so touchy. I tried to post respectfully and share my opinions and disagreements without overstepping, and I think I and others did. But it might've been locked eventually. It's 2 minutes to midnight.... I'm going to sleep!
It's this Saturday, May 7th. Most comic book stores are participating. Not all their comics are free, but a special list comics are released just for the event.
*prods world* Wakey-wakey! How is Wednesday treating you all? I have fallen in love with an Italian dish. You all make fantastic food.
Day off work, waiting for the central heating boiler to be serviced. Enjoying exploring twitter, not up to speed at all yet. Must be my age, I don't know.
Wednesday is treating me quite fine. Italian food is awesome. And happy Star Wars day! May the fourth be with you.
Last year on Star Wars day, I did a Star Wars marathon, and watched all 6 films in story order (i.e. prequels, then originals). You can't truly appreciate how awful the prequels are until you've watched them in the same sitting as the originals. There's just comparison.
Banzai: Woah, that's dedication. I'm not actually that big a fan of Star Wars, I just like the idea of it being Star Wars day. I haven't seen the films in years and barely remember them. I remember the podracing computer game more. How I miss that game.
All in one day Banzai? Wow... I did that once with the Lord of the Rings Trilogy; never again... *_* Still, I agree that the original trilogy was loads better than the new ones. Sadly I have a few friends who like the new one better, because they saw them first and the "graphics are better." *sigh*
Seriously? That outweighs the awful dialogue, terrible characters, bonkers story and the fact that it shat all over the original story? I despair of humanity, I really do.
I refuse to believe it might be possible that I still haven't truly appreciated how awful the prequels are. I won't believe it nor make any effort to do so.
Damn it, that's the day that I'm busy alllll day. I'll have to try to sneak over to my comic book store. Lydia posted it, but no one else on my Facebook has...I've never seen a full Star Wars movie, though, so I didn't really care. Maybe I'll have a Lord of the Rings marathon today, since I don't own any of the movies. Except the third...I think I might own that one for some reason.
@ Banzai. Yes, I know, it's awful. I despair, too, sometimes. @ hidden. It's a bit hard to have a LotR marathon when you only own one of the movies Oh and I actually did the extended editions marathon... which added up to over 12 hours of movie.
(may remove what I wrote today...) I was just kinda goofing while writing today none of it is any good
