Well, I don't! Sad endings makes me a sad llama. At any rate, I was considering making a thread about "The most badass scene you wanted to put in, yet couldn't for whatever reason..." but I don't know if that's allowable or not.
Yeah, if I want the really sweet version, I watch Disney. If I want the sad one, I read the book. I read that book when I was maybe ten or so, I think. I like sad endings, because it can't always be happy.
Even the movie was sad, though! Anyone else having a good weekend that just has shined despite weather, others, or bad events?
Gah, now I feel old. I think the "good old days" of Disney are pre-1990s. Though I did enjoy a lot of the 90s movies, and they encompassed some of my favorites, they didn't have the same feel to them.
I just stick around here and, on occasion, I post in the General Writing section when I have a question.
Joel and I got to see Clueless on the big screen yesterday. It was at a movie theater in the back of a comic book store just off the strip, which was ridiculously hard to find, but it was more fun than I expected. Oh, Clueless...I love it.
I don't want to kill the boy, just have him do his own stuff while I do my own stuff. It's moments like this, when he can't even find something to entertain himself for an hour or two so I can write in peace, that makes me wonder how the hell we're going to manage living together in another year.
Do you guys spend a lot of time together now? Joel and I used to have conflicting work schedules, so it was hard for me to accept voluntarily having time apart, since we saw each other so little. Now that I'm not working and we get to see more of each other, it's a lot easier.
Good morning, everyone. Today is day before exam day! The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and I'm freaking nervous. I have to keep telling myself it'll be fine or I... yeah, I'm not sure what happens, but it won't be something nice.
Agreed! You'll kick exam butt, Lydia. I totally feel you on the nerves, though. I've got my skills test today, and I'm already feeling like I'm going to throw up, I'm so anxious.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaha! Actually, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I had a stomach bug coming on or something, so you could be right.
How's everyone's day going? Mine's awesome -- I have really dark, rainy skies where I am (favorite weather!), a good book and Arcade Fire playing.
Mine is going great. Just sat down to watch Back to the Future. Went to the library as well and I have the whole day off. So I couldn't be happier
I love the Back to the Future movies! They're so excellent, and they stand the test of time, I think. I remember being so disappointed when I learned hoverboards weren't a real thing.
^Haha, oh really? Ooh, that'd be so cool to go surfing over land with a hover-board. It is a shame that in our age, our technological people haven't provided us with one.
