According to my internet search, Graham crackers are digestive biscuits to us. And what are crusts (I take it you don't mean bread crusts)?

    @LaGs - *gag*

@Eunoia - digestive biscuits? That just sounds wrong... Anywho to make crust for like cheesecake, chocolate cream pie, oreo pie, etc. you put graham crackers in a ziploc bag and beat the hell out of them until they're crumbs (or you could use a food processor or blender, but it's not nearly as fun) then you put them in a pie pan with some sugar and butter and you mix them up until they're like a thick paste. Then you press them into the pan/up the sides until they're smooth and compact and TADA! Graham cracker crust..... YUM

Ah yes, cheesecake bases for us are crushed digestive biscuits. So digestive biscuits are the equivalent for us.

Haha, I'm not that keen on digestive biscuits so your graham crackers sound a little nicer. We probably have a similar type of cracker though.

Also, I'm considering going clothes shopping tomorrow. I hate shopping, especially clothes shopping, but my parents pointed out how old most of my clothes are. I realised that most of them are at least five years old so I've had them since my mid-teens. Bleurgh, don't want to shop.

Digestive biscuits, wow...that sounds so gross!

I totally feel you on the clothes shopping. Most of my clothes are several years old, too, and I've grown out of a lot of them since starting derby, but I really don't want to go shopping for new ones...

Digestive biscuits really aren't that gross, even if I'm not keen on them. :p

I haven't even grown out of mine. I can still wear clothes I wore when I was thirteen (seven years ago) so I wonder what the point is. But I guess I need to update my wardrobe to have more 'grown up' clothes. Problem is I tend to like boys clothes more than girls. >.>

Yeah, I looked them up, they look good. Just the name...kind of off-putting.

I wish I could still fit into my old clothes...my thighs getting bigger thanks to skating all the time and my tatas randomly deciding to grow when hit my mid-twenties ruined that for me. :( Most days I just wear gym shorts and tank tops, because none of my other clothes fit me.

hiddennovelist: Maybe you should go shopping too. :p Even just thinking about it is putting me off.

Chocolate digestives are nice, but ordinary digestives aren't.

    Those chocolate ones looked goooooood.

Urrrg, I really don't want to! I wish I had someone who would go to the store for me and buy a bunch of stuff they thought would look good on me. Then I could try it all on at home, and they could return anything that didn't work. Anyone want to be my personal shopper?

Haha. I'd like a personal shopper too. That's why I tend to rely on other people buying me clothes so I don't have to.

Before Joel and I went on our anniversary cruise earlier this year, Joel's mom was so concerned about me having a little black dress to wear that she went out and bought like six dresses for me to try on. Normally Joel's mom drives me crazy, but this was actually pretty rad...I ended up with two dresses and didn't have to set foot in a store. :)

Maybe I could get Joel's mom to be my personal shopper...she would probably love it.

Nice. Maybe you should get her to be your personal shopper, it means you'll both get along probably. :p

Either that or we'd end up killing each other in some sort of bizarre murder/suicide thing.

Dear cats who are out in my front yard having a cordial discussion,

You do not belong to me. Please continue your discussion elsewhere. You're causing my dogs to bark like insane lunatics, thus disrupting the peace in my house.

Do you have a squirt gun? That's how I used to get Joel's cat to leave me alone. ;)

Come on. Can I not get away from the name cat? My older cat the one who has been in the family for nearly ages, twenty-five. Has moved on. I am trying to distract myself here. Quit reminding me.
