lol you should go to local writers' meetup groups, then you'll make writer friends, that's how I made mine! (there's always stuff going on during Nano, most areas have local stuff in November for it at coffee shops, bookstores, library conference rooms etc)
My friends are mostly artists, good at drawing and all that. The one thing besides math I've never been good at.
You'd be surprised JP where you'll find them... I found mine in the next town over which is actually smaller than the one I live in...
Oh yes because I have the ability to drive almost 2 hrs to freakin San Fransisco. edit- Gigi, that's cool. I wanted to write for the school newspaper. But eh. They don't like me.
I love the school paper. It's a nice family feel between us all... although since a sizeable amount of us were seniors last year and have graduated, I don't know how the paper will be this year.
Me too. There are lots of cows around here too, where I live. I'm about 2 to 3 hrs away from any normal person city. Cows are cute @Gigi, that sounds fun.
I really think I have a chance, but I really wanna prove that I'm worthy of it. I'd love a cake, too.
Well I promise a cake to you Gigi. Just be warned, it will have no egg or anything in it. I only cook allergy free food.
You should. You can come hang out with me after you turn 21! Or I guess 18, since that's a lot sooner. Awesome!! I tried to get my sister to join, but she said no. I want a cake!
Haha thanks, look forward to it! I'm currently watching V for Vendetta after a day of doing strategical PR stuff. One of my friends is off in another room reading my manuscript (the first 114 pages of it). I'm eagerly awaiting her feedback.
It really is quite the enjoyable little movie. Been a couple of years since I watched it. Should probably get back to it here.
