As per Mallory's request, I've chained my arse to my chair and began writing again.

    NO EXCUSES THIS TIME!!!

I'm giving very serious thought to going back to uni in a year's time, and doing an LLM.

I'm also considering starting a novel.

What on earth is going on with me?

Currently writing my dark horror fantasy novel. Cannot say further because this work is what I want to publish.

Plenty of people not drinking here. May I join the club, being completely teetotal?

You can imagine what the nights out in Newcastle were like. Been asked why I don't drink an insane amount of times.

    Yay for all the writing.

I've been telling myself that today will be the day I force myself to start my novel. So far, it's going well... The document isn't even open. >.>

Lol Eunoia, been there dude. What genre is it? I'd ask what it's about but I didn't know if you wanted to tell.

Didn't you finish a book once? I just seem to recall you finishing something...

I could be mistaking you for another poster about that...

Teen/YA. Crime/school thing basically, not entirely sure myself haha. I need to submit some of it for uni so I thought it'd be a good idea to start it now and see if it works.

I wish. I failed to complete NaNoWriMo, maybe you're thinking about that? And I have mentioned starting this novel before I think. Been meaning to all summer.

It might be worth trying to publish some of them individually, in magazines and anthologies. Publishers won't often take a story collection from unpublished writers.

I wanted to try NanoWrimo this year. But that would take away from my video gaming. Skyrim.

    edit-

Well thanks for the heads up. Foils my plans.

^ Ah cool Eunoia, mine's YA too. Good luck with submitting it at uni; hope they like it!

I promised myself I'd spend the summer doing two things: job searching and writing my novel. And writing it properly this time - not just rushing through every scene because I want to get to the ending!

I tried camp nano but it didn't work for me. Now I still have my details on there and I have no idea how to get rid of them. =/

Okay folks. My alarm is about to go off for me to leave. I'm excited and nervous, but will fill you in on all the details when I get back. That is if you're interested. Oh god....cannot have a meltdown now. It's now or never.

Bye for now. 1 more min.

Not drastically. Just trawl duotrope for places to send the individual stories out. Once you've had a few of them published, you can start thinking about querying a publisher about the collection.

    Thanks.

I was going to do those two things too. Failed on both accounts. :p Well, technically I haven't failed the job search bit because I have been searching, just not been successful.

I was going to do Camp NaNo this month but yeahhh, not happening. Where did you put your details? I'm sure you can delete them.

It was on the camper profile thingy, but I can't seem to find my way back to that page. The menu is way too simple there, because you can't actually see all the options. Blargh.

You know the bar at the top with Camper Profile? Hover over that and a drop down list will come. You click Camper Info and then you can edit user settings, camper info, novel info. Is that what you want?

Ah I think I've found the right page now, but I still can't find how to get rid of the novel cover picture and novel title etc

It's considering it an "old novel" and i can only make a new one?

    Hi, Pallas!

Just got home from the grand opening of this pretty huge sports training facility. Fun, fun, fun! But after three hours on skates, my feets hurt.
