Thanks Mallory. I seen your character's Facebook page by the way. For some reason I couldn't help but like it; in both senses of the word when it comes to Facebook.
Thanks I"m trying to market/spread the word as much as possible before I actually get published - I figure it'll help to get a head start.
Posting huge chunks of the book and making self-publishing moves will hinder. I don't think what I'm doing will.
I doubt it will help to be honest. If you put that on a cover letter and sent it to me I'd think 'This person has too much time on their hands' at best. I know I'm not a professional editor, but I know one and I've learned a lot from him.
It's mainly for fun, I'm not actually putting it on a cover letter or resume. I agree with you on that point. Definitely not for anything formal, just to get people interested in my book while I'm writing it. It's a very casual thing.
Still, that picture of Adalyn is neat. =) I don't like sharing my stuff on Facebook. When I'm ready to release Amos (or some other character) out to the world, I will. For now, he exists only in my laptop and in my head.
I will have to keep my characters in my head it appears. I looked through all of them. Raging psychotics don't do so well on Facebook.
All right Mallory. I will be willing to share sometime. Just tell me when you're free and I'll send you up my baby project about murderous killers. A story in their eyes. The bad guy always wins in my stories.
I'm sure you'll find something! J.P., I do have a few stories on my reviewing plate, but I'll let you know as soon as I'm freed up for more. In case I forget, can you VM me about it in a couple days?
Sure that is fine Mallory. Though I could imagine the police barraging into my home due to my Facebook account about a murderous torture man, then have to explain it's a fictitious character. rofl.
Well. It looks like I might be able to get the grant to do an MA degree after all. It just means becoming the type of right-wing Tory I usually try my damn best to ignore.
I agree. I'm gonna try to get a campus job this semester. I know it's not the same as a real job in the working world, though...
^ A job's a job. Campus jobs are usually better paid too. I'm going to try and get a campus job too as a library helper but everyone wants that job so it's very unlikely I'll get it.
