Thanks Not going to be the only place I apply for graduate schemes, but it'll be one of those I most hope comes off. Going to still be spending a year out. So still need to find other work!
Well, I wish my job payed more. The Panasonic HDC-TM900K 3 MOS 3D compatible camcorder looks so amazing, and with a fish-eye lens I could really pull off some sick skate footage, but alas I will never be able to bring myself to spend so much money on a hobby. Who wants to come sulk in the terrible reality that most of the things we want to do are simply too expensive?
Ahh, a mug of hot cocoa, and a story to transcribe that my little sister wrote. To be completed in silence. Yess. What are you guys up to?
Upping my WC even though I've been up since 3 a.m. Friday morning with about 4 hours of sleep that I got Thursday night. But I'm determined to make headway anyway.
It's all right lad. I can't afford the laptop I want. The old MacBook needs replacing. It's 4 years old now and a bit on the battered side. I really want a MacBook Pro (none of this Air rubbish), but cannot afford one. I could also do with sticking some more RAM in the iMac as well. 1GB (on a 2.4GHz processor) really isn't enough these days).
Ah well, you should go out and purchase Fallout 1 and 2 right now and play them. Fallout 2 is by far the best in the series, and doesn't run on the horribly awkward and dated Gamesgyro engine.
He was effectively retired before he formally stepped down. Tim Cook's been doing the job for quite a while.
Apparently, neither did the markets. Apple's share prices took a bit of a hit following the announcement, which wouldn't have happened had investors looked more closely at events. Though Apple's value still stands at a staggering $320bn. Don't ask me how that's worked out - I don't really know much about companies and their values. I get turnover, I understand share prices, I comprehend the market forces that are in work at the moment, but that's about it. (Considering I'm thinking about switching my career path to banking, I probably need to remedy the situation).
I am not a fan of Apple, but I must say if I were going to invest in something, I'd travel to the year 1999 and invest everything I own into that company.
Go back further! Apparently, some Apple executives think the company is too valuable and would like share prices to drop. That's second-hand knowledge from listening to the radio the other day, mind, so it might be horribly inaccurate. Anyhoo, I'm off to watch the Town.
The Town is a pretty decent movie. Good enough to maybe bring Ben Affleck out of his romantic comedy Hell.
Hmm, things seem a bit slow in here. What's everyone got planned for the week ahead? Also, is anyone hit by Hurricane Irene? I'm in Florida, hurricane central, but so far have had just normal sunny weather. I love downpours and intense rainstorms though, so I'm hoping for some of those soon.
I have school planned and well school. I've heard of Irene and I won't actually state any of my thoughts because some people may be upset, but all I can say is I heard. What do you have planned?
Finish up homework that I have left over form last year. Mono kinda pushed me back a little ways in school. Other than that, read the plethera of new books I got at Borders, including Time Machine by H.G. Wells and Morlock Night by K.W. Jeter. As far as hurricanes go, the Midwest rarely experiences them. ;D
