To be fair to them, they probably feel like all critics are the same and get shocked when they learn that some are harsh critics. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong, I'm just saying that some people hand their work over to a critic expecting him/her to be the made-up critic in their heads. It doesn't work.

I wonder if identical twins could have different sexual orientations.

Yes, because hormones fetuses are exposed to in the womb are possibly acting on gender traits.

Finger-Length Ratios in Female Monozygotic Twins Discordant for Sexual Orientation
Every female with the longer ring fingers are not lesbian. Mine is longer and I'm very much heterosexual. But I do have some traits that are atypical of females. What's interesting about this study is it corroborates research that found some identical twins who were not both homosexual still had to have had prenatal influences for their sexual orientation.

In other words finding discordant homosexuality in identical twins is not necessarily evidence being gay isn't physical.

I was going to start a Debate Room thread about John Grisham's recent comments about child pornography (with which I agree), but he already rolled over and apologized, so never mind.

I was just thinking about Assassin's Creed III and something occurred to me: Would it have been a pretty intense plot twist if Desmond were fully corrupted by the Eden-ball thingy and went full-blown Dark Side? He betrays his team to the Templars as he escapes to control the world along with Juno? Or would that be horrible and senseless? :p

That would make more sense than what actually did happen!

My mind pictured a tragic scene where Shaun and Desmond's father both sacrificed their lives trying to stop Eden!Desmond, and Rebecca escaped. The rest of the modern-arc would be about Rebecca joining with another Assassin's group to stop Desmond and the Templars,

The series now makes no sense to me anymore. The last game should have been all about Desmond. I even thought of the perfect way to end the series, if only Ubi Soft had employed me it would have been the best ending to a series ever! But mankind is yet to understand my genius.

If I were designing it, Rebecca would be the new protagonist now. :D Shaun? His fate would be up for grabs. Not sure if he'd be better off alive or not.

You can't kill the sarcastic, British asshat! That's basically me only with Danny Wallace's voice. :(

But I want to go back and replay Assassins Creed 3 again, and I really don't know why. I really like playing it, but I really really hate it. :p

    <edits notes>

Don't worry, he doesn't die. :D He...decides to take care of things by himself! :D And he's the second playable protagonist along with Rebecca. And...and...um...he has a final showdown with Desmond with Latin choir chants playing in the background. :p

I actually wouldn't mind watching Desmond and Shaun have a chase-fight sequence all through Florence, attempting to sneak attack each other, hiding in the haystacks...basically utilizing every single skill we've learned throughout the whole series to take down our former controllable character.

    That would be cool. :)

I always wanted to see an Assassins Creed game set on the eve of the English Civil War.

What's got a better story line? Assassin's Creed or metal gear solid?

No idea. To be honest I stopped liking Metal Gear Solid when the story took a right at What the F junction.

Well, to be honest, I stopped liking Assassin's Creed as soon as they introduced those lame outfits and tried to have parkour. (eg, I never even played it)

I stopped playing video games when I became an adult. The one exception is Grand Theft Auto V, because I can't get enough California.
