We're healthy for a mid-sized writing forum. If you want to jump in the ocean, there's absolutewrite.com. You might find their moderation policies a little stifling, but that's to be expected with such a large crowd. It's not a dig at them, just the nature of the beast.
Dear Mr. @Boger, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice the whole internet for whatever it is we want to write. What we do is wrong. But we think you're crazy to make us write a response telling you who we think we are. What do you care? You see us as you want to see us—in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. You see us as a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal. Correct? That's the way we see each other at this website. We were not brainwashed.
An unrestrained response for an unrestrained question. Anything of such weight moves slowly at times, couldn't have thought of it sooner. Calm does not mean deserted.
Truth. One thing I really like about our forum is that we are neither Amerocentric nor Britanocentric. Forums of our size tend to develop lean in one direction or the other, which I find unfortunate because there is so much to be gleaned from both sides.
