hey people. It is almost 1am and I can't sleep. I am not even remotely sleepy. Not normal for me. I'm normally fast asleep for 9pm.

I just woke up (3am). Been waking up between 12, and 3am every night all week. At first i wanted to slit my wrists, but i'm used to it now. All i have to do it watch television, and it's incedible how fast it brings on sleep.

I fall asleep pretty fast mostly... never had any trouble sleeping.

Speedy... damn! I rarely used to sleep, and with Tobin, I am use to be tired all the time, Dan doesn 't cope too well, so I tend to push myself harder when I am really tired to cope even better.

    Lydia, glad to hear that.

Cogito, I am always up at that time feeding Tobin. Normally asleep for 9 pm though...

if i could get into a decent pattern of sleep, id take the option of waking around 4-5am (As long as i could be in bed by 9pm week nights) I find it quiet more rewarding getting up around then. Put a few hours into writing, go for a nice jog, watch the sun rise.

Beat's waking at 8am. Sun is up, hundreds of casual joggers walkiing the dog. Rude school traffic. People.....not as fun.

If we ever decided to have a child, it would be easy. Me being up pretty much every dark hour!

Seriously though, i need to find something to help me get to sleep. My body might get sleepy, but the mind just wake's up at when the sun goes down and i have no chance.

Certain activities that take place during evenings just wake me up even more as well. (As people have tried to give advice) :D

Edit - Anyway i have stuff to do. Also what the hell happened to the Dow Jones this week? Is Greece really that important :D

Inhate waking up late (8 am is late to me) feels like half the day is over with.

But yes, I know what you mean about night time and sleep. It is when my mind is most active.

I'm exactly like you Speedy. I can easily force myself into a balanced sleep pattern, getting to sleep at 11pm and waking up about 6.30/7am. It's just not natural for me. I wake up sluggish usually and don't feel at my 'brightest' during the morning. I like to relax in the morning which isn't helpful at all.

I get a second wind at about 10.30 on most week nights after being massively tired after work from around 7-9pm and fighting sleep. It's infuriating! Part of my brain comes alive later on. As a student I used to do my best studying between 10pm and 3am. It's infuriating being like this!

My sleep pattern is a total mess. I need more of it, but have a hard time falling sleep (day or night). I can be EXHAUSTED and still not be able to drop off.

On the up shot, I just turned in my last final! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!

I am entertaining the thought of seeing it tonight.

Lots of douchebaggery rears its ugly head at the theater though...
