SUN Glorious sun and blue sky. A tad bit of wind. SUN!!!!! 7 whole beautiful degrees above zero. Loves it.
to you, Vancouver Lady. Try dealing with the cold and snow in Ontario. Not today, though. It's a whole four degrees above zero!
The French part of Switzerland, where I live, has been under a rainy sky for almost all of the day. Felt like shouting, hey clouds up there, stop raining !!
It's one of those days. We got hammered with a ton of snow last week, probably thirteen or fourteen inches in one night, and every day was below zero or below zero considering the windchill. Now, only a few days later, it is nearly fifty-five degrees, and all of the snow is melting, revealing all the dead leaves and and grass the pretty white snow had hidden away. And it's grey. Yuck!
During the international segment of my local news show, they said there has been so much snow in England that they are running out of road salt.
That's true. The papers here had handled it tactfully, with the headline: NOW WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF GRIT! Just a stone's throw from: WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!
Hot again, but not as hot as down south Over 60 bushfires in one state alone (which has killed 35 people) Glad i live near water!
Highs in the 60s (fahrenheit) this weekend. It's been in the 20s all week and will be again starting next week, but at least I have two solid days where I can go outside and not wanna kill myself the instant I feel the air. I'm just glad I was able to go riding in a t-shirt instead of being suited up like an Eskimo. I made it to the skatepark today and re-learned 360s. I'd forgotten how to do them because its freakin' impossible to spin when you can't feel your fingers.
Cold and snowy! I live in Nortern Sweden, which is not fun at the moment. It's been snowing for four (!!) days straight, with no sign of stopping. Plus, it's cold. *emmigrates*
Yeah but this is the first time we've had a whiteout in like a decade so it's a fairly big deal. Everything pretty much ground to a halt. WE WANT MORE!
Today was a lovely 70 degrees with moderate cloud cover. But there was something funky going on with the atmosphere that, even though I couldn't tell what it was, made the sunlight seem... ugly, for want of a better word. I can't think of a better way to describe it, but it happens frequently. At least where I live. Not a bad day, considering it's still officially winter.
Brrr lightly snowing, wind, and dense cloud. Suprisingly only 3 degrees today. I thought it was lower.
