just to prove how much ohio's weather sucks: yesterday it was 60 degrees out, with a thunderstorm and 60 mph winds. today it's 34 degrees out, calm and dreadfully muddy. ugh.
Flipping cold. But still 'warnings' like this from the news today make me shake my head. "We are warning motorists to stay at home unless their journey is essential because of heavy snowfall on the region's roads. Up to 6cm is expected in some places." That's 6cm - approximately this much (______________________) Surely not debilitating for a Western power?
The ice and snow, which we are certainly not used to here, has finally gone and we are back to mild and damp. Just how we like it...
It was sunny w/blue skies when I woke up, but now it's gone back to its default setting - cloudy with a chance of rain.

i heard it gets pretty nippy up there in maine it's starting to thaw down here in ohio. high of 41 today and i'm breaking out the shorts!
It's too dark outside to know.What am I saying? It'll be cloudy today, same as yesterday, and in the mid 30s is my guess. Inside, though, it's freeeezing.
First thing, it was sunny with blue skies and a few puffy white clouds. The birds were singing and I went into town with a light heart. Since returning, the sun has disappeared and it's back to the Irish default setting (thanks marina, I love that term!) cloudy and dull with rain not too far away. I should be used to it by now.
