Hello everyone! I just joined after looking around to see that this was a good site, it is . I am here because my mom said that I, a high school sophmore, write better than she did in college. Also my English teacher is pushing writing very hard and why fight it? Also where else is a good place to practice and improve my writing than a message board of almost 1,000 writers? Well I think that was about all I wanted to say for now.
Greetings! I'm not sure about other places to practice online, although I know that fanfiction sites exist, if that is what you do. Other than that, just writing at home can do wonders for your ability. And READ - read biographies, fantasy, sci-fi and spec-fic and historical fiction, poetry, and mysteries. Read anything that interests you, and try not to fall asleep in English.
