What an absolutely delightful author interview:

John Green, "The Fault in Our Stars" was interviewed on the Colbert Report tonight.

In a few days the interview should be up and free on the website, every aspiring writer should watch it. It was great.

He likened writing to four years in the basement calling out, "Marco, ... Marco, ... Marco" and finally someone replies, "Polo". He loves to watch the movie adaptation of his book, people crying at the story he wrote is rewarding.

Everything he said was so, "I can relate," especially to the 'four years' part.

I love how relaxed he is. I know I'd be nervous if I had interview. "What if nobody laughs at my jokes and I appear a complete looser?"

    Also, cool socks! :D

John Green is a nice guy, and a very good writer. I like him a lot.

This makes me want to read the book. BTW Colbert Report is the best talk show out there.

I love his response to "Are you a cult leader?"
