I decided to heat up and mash up some herring fillets in tomato sauce from a can, and added Mazola oil, Sriracha hot sauce, fish sauce and dark brown sugar. If I had a cup for what I made, I would have cupped it, but I didn't.
I served with chips (without a cup).

    My own Fish & Chips.

    Time to create a universe.

    :read: Alrighty!

    Universe completed! :superyesh:
Tomorrow I'll create The Apple Pie. Maybe I'll resurrect one because this seems quite complicated.

    Nothing flashy.
Just a plate full of Spaghetti and loads of cheese (like an unhealthy amount). And the dog is getting beef casserole (no joke)

I don't know, but that dog looks baked.

Not cooking tonight, but for lunch I made an open faced egg salad sandwich with bacon. I need to clean out the fridge and buy groceries, so dinner is a TBA from Postmates. Free delivery Friday! :cheerleader:

Change of dinner plans. I'm going to want that delivery tomorrow night instead and it will probably be a calorie bomb, and I'm a little run down from a stressful week, so I made antioxidant soup:

I heated some cryopac yellow squash soup (the stuff that comes in an oversized juice box) and tossed in a handful of baby spinch, finely diced red bell pepper, and a little curry powder, and garnished it with dried goji berries (my permanent substitute for dried cranberries). If I had pumpkin seeds, walnuts, or sliced almonds I'd have garnished with those as well.

Shepherd's pie, only with unwanted ground turkey meat, instant mashed potatoes, and leftover cheese sauce with bacon chunks and green onion mixed in.

Wanted to get rid of the turkey meat, so there was that.

Was legit so sweet, it made me a little ill just cleaning up after it, but the people I fed it to rather enjoyed it.

Nicely done, @The Dapper Hooligan ! Nicely piped meringue, and the crust looks deliciously flaky, too.

Does making popcorn for watching a movie count? I melted the butter myself.. :)

I love hot sammichs, have an old round pizza tray from an old family business, tend to just stick the sandwich on there pop her in the oven and comes out pretty well. Nothing fancy or perfect but good enough. The ovens regulator has been off though so it`s been tricky as of late.

Been eating kinda inconsistent lately but pretty well. Lots of enchiladas, turkey wraps with guacamole, shrimp poboys, chicken wraps, cheeseburgers, tater tot casseroles, and all around good eats. Homemade burritos the other night. Homemade burritos for breakfast, and one soon for lunch. Tonight's supper will be (most likely) something involving chicken, gravy, and potatoes.

Been reading about Scottland lately kinda want to try some Scottish recipes but the only thing I can with the current state of the kitchen is......porridge. Would need it`s own shopping list. So much effort.

Note to self: Invite Dapper to any get-togethers involving desserts.

Had a burger and a chocolate shake. Didn't make it myself, though.

Local supermarket was selling packets of 3 peppers for 24p and bags of cauliflower/broccoli for 29p so I found a couple of pork-loin steaks (£1.20) and have made a pork and red-pepper goulash and a huge veggie curry which will provide main meals for a week for a total of about £3 including half a packet of rice.

I don't mind spending money on food, but you can eat very well for very little in the UK if you're prepared to cook

    The machine worked?

We still have a pack of tortillas and we`ve really just been stuffing everything into one these last few days. LEft over chicken? Wrap that sucker.

I have been told on numerous occasions over the years that I can't have a McFlurry or a milkshake because the machine isn't working. Sounds like they have the same shitty machinery stateside too. Interesting.
