New alleged beverage, check. Stomach pump, check. Replacement emergency beverage, check. Dutch courage, glug glug, sheque. Wesh 'bout rready ta try shush, me shinks.
We will be going to dinner and toasting Mrs. A's late mother tonight. Won't be good for my diet, but that's unimportant.
Took advantage of the grill and grilled some chicken cutlets. Threw it on some hamburger buns (2) and sided it with onion rings, homemade. I think I used too much dough for the rings, but otherwise, it came out good.
Remember how I said i was gonna steal this idea? Finally got around to it after work tonight, also finally got around to making that left over meat omelet the other day. I used my last tortilla and didnt stick to the Mexican theme very much. Put some sauce down, some cheese, spices..mabye shouldve put that on the sauce but i forgot, some pepperoni from a giant bag i still had, and tossed on some peppers. Found a whole other pack of tortillas I didnt know I had so thats a whole new world right there.
Last night I made baked chicken cutlets*, so tonight will either be leftovers or a Lean Cuisine. *Schmear chicken cutlets with mayonnaise (has to be the real stuff for the fat), roll them in a mixture of crushed Ritz crackers seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and herbs (I used parsley), then bake at 350F to a temp of 165F on an instant-read thermometer. Garlic Ritz are even better and don't require the garlic powder.
Pork chops and mashed potatoes with an Arnold Palmer.....been one of those days. May skip lunch tomorrow, so want to meal prep tonight for a good breakfast tomorrow. Slow in the mornings so hoping if somethings prepped tonight I'll have no excuses. Thinking of premaking breakfast burrito fixings so i can just stuff on a tortilla in the morn.
I'm roasting a chicken in my new clay baker. I stuffed the cavity with onions and apples and sprinkled paprika on top. There's a couple of big carrots lovingly arranged around it, too. Celery ribs for a bit of how-you-say, insouciance. It's aromatic in the kitchen now. Should be done in ten minutes or so.
Just finished dinner. It was delicious! Even my roomie loved it, and he doesn't often love my cooking. Very happy and full right now. And I don't even have to clean up, because the maids are coming tomorrow morning! Kitchen bliss!
Spoiler: Tijuana Sunset Deviled Eggs Couldn't find my proper piping nozzle, so unfortunately the fillings look kinda turd-like.
Interesting. Do you dye the eggs after hard-boiling them? Or do they just happen to have purple eggs where you are?
You can dye them with beet juice, or you you could fight a Northern Glacial Wyvern and raid her nest. Beet juice is easier, but Wyvern eggs are a bit spicier, with an almost mythological quality to them.
You could have someone else to be the face of the business, while you swear like Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen.
