For my dinner today... wraps, filled with coronation chicken, Fridge Raiders and crunched up crisps.

Kugel, roasted chicken and matzah balls.

My business partners mother adores me, so she's invited me over to eat tonight. Should be fun, she makes great food and her husband is a comedian in disguise. Great people, great food - tonight will be fun.

So it had to ascend the throne with a fancy party and
    get crowned first?

Last night I snagged a cheap steak on the way home from work, but today I think it's going to be yakitori. Oh, and I made an "American summer lunch from Mom" for Mrs. A since she had the day off. Grilled cheese (American singles, natch), potato chips, a dill pickle, and soda.

    Health food....

If the soda was Mountain Dew that'd be the most American meal ever.

I know! And you have a much better variety of them than we have here. I have a friend who brings me Belgian chocolates every time he comes over from London.

Tonight's dinner: Spinach salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots, to atone for last night's pizza and chocolate ice cream.

Vegetable yaki udon. Sided with miso soup and some steamed pork dumplings.

Gotta get better by Monday. C'mon soup, work that magic.

Also drinking a lot of ginger.

    ETA: Wrote soup twice. Fixed.

Tonight's meal was chili made with everything from the garden. Minus the groundbeeff....those seeds just attracted bears. Last`s night was sauge sandwiches, chips pickles, and beer. A real blue-collar meal. I helped the community center with there food sale during an annual festival for one day came home with enough leftover food for a week. That's gonna be nice all healted up real quick after my fun labor day of being the only maid fora five-floor hotel. Just gotta think if I want the kabasisa or the ham bbq....

    OMG

I forgot to bring home any pagach.

I turned a five pound pork loin into pulled pork. I started it in the slow cooker about 7pm last night, pulled it apart about noon today, and it’s been simmering in a home made sauce since. This is going to be some good shit Maynard.

I quit my nightmare hell job, so for the first time in a long time I am back to cooking a delicious meal that didn't come out of a meal delivery kit box! Huzzah! :cheerleader:

Today's Labor Day feast is sous vide fillet mignon, potato parsnip and celeriac puree, and shaved brussel sprouts tossed with a vanilla balsamic vinaigrette. Oh, and a pineapple sunshine cake that I totally got from a bakery.

Vegan pizza. Niece is giving me this "one week Vegan" challenge, so that's dinner.

The pizza doesn't taste too bad, but, like I told her, until Vegan companies make bacon-not-bacon taste like actual bacon, I'll not stay Vegan.

Life is too short to not taste bacon.

Congrats on quitting the hell job and you're feast sounds lovely. Puts my feast of reheated leftovers to shame. Still quite happy with mine though. Nice treat after my own kinda nightmare job.

You say Quorn tastes like chicken...but so does chicken.

Thank you for that video. Loving the crusader presenter.

Went out to eat after a long shift at a local bar by the hotel. Double bacon cheeseburger and peanut butter cake. No alcoholic though thought about some Angry Orchard but haven't been liking how much I`ve been drinking lately. Was very nice, and pleasant meal.

    Aldi tinned meatballs.

I have had a bad back so haven't been able to get out to the shops, and I am starting to reach the "emergency" rations... it was a toss-up between cat-food and the tinned meatballs.

    The cat won )c:

The cat had better pray that it gets better before WE run out of cat food and the only thing left to eat is the cat...

thanks for your good wishes - also about to run out of painkillers so it is a case of scoff the last of 'em and go to the shop this evening...

I don't know what peanut butter melt away is, but anything for breakfast is ok I reckon. you have all day to digest it, yes?

Vegan "chicken teriyaki" with vegetable fried rice. So far this Vegan stuff is working out, though, I'm unsure of this no meat "chicken."

I'm off tonight and my wife is working, so I'm going to try to hit as many restaurants as possible. I'm thinking Mexican for a margarita and something small to start. Then the cigar bar for a manhattan and a Rocky Patel. Then maybe Italian for wine and pasta. Then the pub for beer and whatever disgusting fried food I have room for.

I'm a filthy whore, by the way.

Nope. Made it as far Mexican with two margaritas and shrimp tacos. Then I grabbed some veal and peas from the Italian market, headed home, and am contemplating a nice nap. Sounded great when I typed it, but then biology took over.

Shoot, just looked up Rocky Patel and it's a cigar, not some kinky curry-flavored cocktail.

    Yet.

This Vegan "chicken" isn't too bad. The texture is slightly off, but it's editable.

Won't be eating it again though. Tonight would've been a much better cold cereal dinner.
