Good for you! Unfortunately, I'm under the curse where I love to eat,but hate to cook. Never been a skill of mine really. I have a full stocked kitchen with all the bells and whistles, but I usually have little intention to use it. I think I need to hire a cook.

My husband loves to fuss with food. I'm the opposite. I hate fussing with food, so we complement each other. I learned to cook working in restaurants, so I have a kinda hell-mend-em-just-get-the-damn-thing DONE attitude. At the same time, it makes me fairly fearless with food. And I do love to eat. I will happily eat just about anything. No real dislikes, and only one recent allergy ...oats. Go figure. I move to Scotland, home of The Oat, and become allergic to them. Mutter....

A slow cooker that likes to eat worms, beetles, etc? I think you'd better keep an eye on him/her.

Baked potatoes with leftover salmon soup poured over it like thin gravy, after splitting the potatoes and smothering it with butter.
I spiced it up with salt, pepper, and chilli lime pepper.
I wonder if I should have turned the soup into gravy.
I have more than enough for tonight.

Interesting. Vodka and Dr. Pepper don't mix, unless
you like alcoholic cough medicine. :p

Unless very many things change, I predict it will be....

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a homemade dill pickle and a glass of milk. Possibly a peanut butter and banana sandwich.

To those of you who are judging, a gentle reminder, tis one of my all time favorite meals.

Made a very basic white people quesadilla with American cheese and a tortilla, then made some very fancy bread/cake thing for Thursday. It has cranberries, pistachios, orange juice, mascarpone cheese, and coconut milk in it. It sounds fancier than it is.

Shrimp, once again deciding the sauce in which to fry them with. Also, a little bit of octopus and some baby bok choy I think. Trying to think of a good side i can use.

Put a whole turkey in a brine. Pumpkin pies, which I hate(for coworkers). And a rice and mushroom casserole. Tomorrow, I suppose, the giblet gravy, oyster stuffing and cranberry relish.

As much as I do love Thanksgiving meals, as a KY native, I'm a much bigger fan of making Hot Browns with the leftovers.

And for those of you that think Hot Browns is a vulgar code phrase:

Macorni pie a coworker of mine made and a frozen pizza. Not doing anything real special for tomorrow, not worth the hassle. Just gonna try for a peaceful meal/night. At the hotel they do a buffet and it`s booked up in advance but they`ll put food back for the workers sometimes or let us go through and i`ll be working then so we`ll see.

There are a few dishes every year that I look forward to. One is definitely the leftover hot browns. Turkey, parmesan, romano cheese mixed with cream, toast, bacon, nutmeg, paprika, la roma tomatoes. Created by the Brown hotel, it is the second greatest Kentucky contribution to food after Bourbon.

Nothing. My Thanksgiving feast is being prepared for me by our local grocery store. They roast turkeys, make sides, etc. for people like me who are not deep enough in the Cathedral to know the Arcane Mysteries of Thanksgiving feast preparations, and would, frankly, rather watch football.

I will have great fun figuring out what to do with the leftovers. Turkey soup, you are in my sights! Prepare to be prepared! Then consumed!

Meatloaf in meatball form, cooked in tomato sauce with Italian seasoning.

Because I think that turkey is overrated

Nothing but my boss had her dinner last night with working today and brought me food from that, and got some sweet potato pie from my work wife. Was a nice meal.
