Here it's about 10:25 am. And I'm not much of a breakfast girl. So going to have some pink salmon with brown bread. Then tonight I'm ordering a takeaway - sod it. Had a terrible week last week so cleaned the kitchen all last night to de-stress myself and now I can't bring myself to even go in there - it looks to spotless!!

That sounds like a great breakfast to me, but then I just had a bowl of (home-made) mulligatawny with a poached egg in it for my breakfast (c:

Perhaps nutritional rather than traditional; I am driving up to Yorkshire for a few days to celebrate the dear ol' mother's 96th birthday so wanted to clear the fridge.

He didn't say the cheese was playing music. He just said he was listening to it - maybe it was silent, and he was trying to detect signs of life. :p

Happy birthday to your Mother and that's quite an age! That reminds me I need to clean my fridge out, that is, unless everything in there has all ready evolved, grown legs and walked out by itself.

If I can then it's fair to assume that anything can.

This is worse than just eating dead cheese. I mean... they're eating the rotting corpse of a cheese. Nope. I wouldn't eat that. I prefer my humble feta. :p

It is that time of year when I at least think about what I am eating.

I have made a porridge, lemon yoghurt and blueberry snack (girlfriends suggestion :blowkiss:). Before that I may have a pizza (my suggestion :supercheeky:).

India invaded the kitchen. Left samosas, curry veggies and naan.

I went to a sushi restaurant owned by a wonderful Japanese couple, and because it's the Midwest and white people have no actual tastebuds, they also have a lot of other Asian inspired food.

I just got fried rice and some edamame because while I do like the miso soup, I didn't feel like having that today. And I surprisingly love edamame!

That'd keep me up for at least four days.

OT: It's my turn to cook dinner tonight. White rice with red beans and potatoes on the side. Yum.

Got No.1 son and his preganant S.O heading over this evening but I am off for a few days tomorrow so trying to combine making a hearty and delicious meal for them with emptying the fridge and having no leftovers...

This has meant getting a bit of casserole steak out of the freezer and making a "three portion"* casserole which is mostly carrot and onion (it was "extra lean" casserole stoke so I made the gravy with port to make it winter-rich). Will use up the last potato and onion to make rosti, and serve with Kale.

*Portion control is impossible with pregnancy - her appetite has increased logarithmically, but her ability to eat seems to depend where the baby's head is!

A tuna fish sandwich...exotic I know... it`s good though. Still haven`t gotten around to doing the tuna lasagna. I want to but ovens still wonky and...lacking motivation. I wanted to clean up the kitchen, start some meal prepping, and etc. Looked around the kitchen and decided ya know...not to. I should eventually though, been having blood sugar dips so...changes our needed. Eventually...I'll probably hate myself later on if I don`t do it sooner then later though.

For now, though this sandwich is the bomb. Also not too bad health-wise ether...probabbly.
