Sometimes I forget to eat, so tonight dinner was at 10:30 (it's 11:15 ish now) and I had ... a weird combination of food, but it's something I enjoy. Air fried tofu (plain super firm, nothin on it because I'm a beast and love it that way) with vegenaise, follow your heart american cheese, all wrapped up on a flour tortilla. I had two of them because I hadn't eaten since early afternoon.

Did scallopine milanese with the arugula salad, shaved parm, and capellini alio. Bought some bracciole from the market too, that I'm going to braise all day tomorrow, I think. Or maybe do some marsala with the last of the shrooms. These are halcyon days for fat fuck Italians with no jobs like me.

What's your favorite version? Basic mayo, add some chili sauce, or?

Lung can be quite tasty when prepared correctly.

This thread is a little depressing, since I still have to be at work at 5:00 pm every weekday night and hardly have time to eat supper, let alone cook it. But what the hey. I had food in the fridge I could use to make a quiche to eat in the morning, so I did.

Gordon Ramsey would have a fit--- I used the rest of the thick-sliced lunch ham I'm not using in school lunch sandwiches, I only had four baby bella mushrooms left, and the broccoli cuts were frozen. And I only had a half cup of cream and had to eke the rest out with whole milk. But my crust is home made, the Swiss cheese was freshly grated, and the nutmeg was, too.

I just have to remember to move the pie to the refrigerator before I conk out.

The ones we made were mostly just basic mayo topped with some fresh chives and such to be fancy...and because I kinda hoarded all the herbs from the restaurant. Everybody else was just passing them up for the bigger items like potatoes and I was just like "Do you know what I can do with all this. Magic!" Same with the five-pound sour cream. "What can you even do with that?" "Wonderful things Karen wonderful things."

Veering back to the topic though, I mostly like the classic mayo with some paprika such for garnish. Tossing in some celery can be great too.

Tonight is this but replace the bacon with blueberries. Mothers convived you catch COVID from eating blood and the normal people are getting it only because they eat meat (unlike the elites who just eat blood...obviously) so kinda on a forced vegetarian diet atm. I really don`t mind it though, I could use a burger sure but a lot of food out there that`s great and isn`t meat.

We have more then enough produce to last us though.

Wife made the chix marsala. I prepped, backed, and cleaned. That's 11 straight days of homecooking in the Potvin homestead, which probably equals the last 4 months combined. Fuck takeout... waste of money. Pizza being a noteable exception.

I just ate two double chocolate chunk cookies, and I probably won't eat anything else tonight because I had a rather satisfying lunch. I shouldn't get in the habit of not eating anything after work, though, because then I might be too hungry in the morning.

I gave my dog dog food from a can for the first time in her life last night and she just looked at me in horror then walked off in disgust. She wouldn't eat it and I don't blame her.

I always found that pizza slice creepy. When did we start sexualising food, and why?

Though the Cheese Strings advert was worse IMO. That food is aimed at children FFS!
