I made a BLTA on white toast, with a couple of improvements: 1. spinach leaves instead of lettuce (more nutritious and versatile, so I don't buy lettuce anymore). 2. a little Thousand Island dressing mixed into the mayo.
Sick. And funny as hell! Just got done watching wildfire disaster, and have seen two fires from too close an angle, and that was still funny! All hail the magic of Cave Troll!!
A sandwich. Yes, a boring, fake meat stuff with tasty coconut cheese sandwich. I'm too tired to cook anything. And ordering food is a no-go. ....the phone guy knows my first name and phone number now....
Going out for steak. I was going to smoke some ribs, but spent the morning driving about in my glorious rental car (2018 Hyundai Tucson. I can say that it it, without a doubt, the best car I've driven this year ) and when I got home slightly too late to start the ribs, I discovered they were still frozen. Tomorrow.
I tweaked a white chicken enchilada casserole recipe to be vegetarian. I've been craving it for days and now it's in the oven.
Toad in the hole. British classic with some herbs added to the batter for a savoury twist. Americans unfamiliar with this name can imagine them as a smaller, savoury Dutch baby with sausages thrown into the batter. They're a favourite of the bf's and he was thrilled when I found a recipe that worked.
Some feathers were ruffled with NY times putting up a recipe for it and it looked like a Yorkshire pudding. It was amusing to read about.
Air. It's gluten-free, fat free, cholesterol free, trans fat free, Saturated fat free, soy free, nut free, no carb, no sugar and Vegan. A little pollution is the only drawback. That and death by starvation, but look at all those other benefits! O_O
Reminds me of the now distant Yogi training I went through. And the subsequent "now that's what I call bullshit" thoughts I had back then which are stronger than ever now. Good meditative days.
Didn't cook it, but fried calamari and a salad. ETA: I haven't had a fried item in over a month, so it was about damn time.
Spicy pasta sauce, veggie noddles with no-meat-meatballs. I'll find out how it tastes in about an hour. Need to unwind, take a bath.
We must be dining at the same place. *summons waiter* "Please send the gentleman over there the next round of whatever he's having, along with my condolences." *raises glass at @Zerotonin *
Burger night: cracked black pepper burger on a slider bun with mayo, dijon mustard, red onion, and spinach leaves, with a side of raw veggies with cucumber ranch.
To hell with the kitchen. I'm ordering Chinese food. Veggie whatever in brown sauce with onion fried rice.
Ash!!!! Did you get chocolate milk yet? I remember your craving it a few months ago (sorry, not trying to sound creepy, photographic memory).
