Pam fried chicken sandwiches with a side of sautéed baby chestnut mushrooms. The bf had white sandwich bread and I had seeded sourdough.

I said it was 'really nice' and everything. But - honestly - chicken thighs plus rice & sweetcorn plus potato cakes, & yogurt on the side and palmful of salt was adequate, imo

Yeah, it would have, but I wanted Eagle Rare, and the chicken wanted Wild Turkey, and we could never come to terms. o_O

Italian tomato herb chicken with rice.

technically I cooked it this afternoon before I left for work, because I don't like cooking when I get home at around 8:20ish.

So you had to hire a lady named Pam to fry your chicken? Interesting, though I am supposing Pam is a good cook, yes? :p

    Orange pasta.

Simply juice and zest two large oranges, mix with one cup sweet wine, shred 2-3 cups parmesan (or more if you're a fatass like me) and set aside a pint of heavy whipping cream. Boil your noodles until almost al dente then drain and add the cream and parmisan. Mix until melted. Then add 1-2 tsp of cayenne pepper to taste and stir in zest/wine/juice mix. Cook on heat until noodles are done and the sauce is thickened, adding more cheese if necessary.

(Note: American or provolone cheese can be added as a thickener if you run out of parmesan.)

It sounds weird but its really good. Try it.

Orange pasta pairs well with cinder-mint martinis.

Mix a shot of fireball, creme de menthe, cocoa nib liqueur (or straight cocoa powder if you don't have any or want even more chocolate flavor) vodka and a dab of vanilla extract. Dilute with half and half to taste, add fresh mint leaves and cinnamon powder and stir. If you add cocoa powder always add it before the half and half as it won't mix smoothly otherwise. If you want a less sweet drink substitute mint extract for creme de menthe and add more vodka.

Alternatively you can mix chamomile liqueur with cream and chai concentrate and that's also quite good.

I had to suppress my laughter there.

Sadly no, it was my phone playing up, I wanted to say 'pan fried' but I was busy with the prep so I didn't notice the typo.

I read it when my boyfriend and I were just waking up, and his brother (since we're with his family right now) was still sleeping in the next room.

are you using the oven method or a box ? or are you doing it old school on racks in the blazing sun ?

I sometimes use the warming oven on my rayburn , although last time I forgot about it and dried it more than was ideal

I've had good luck hanging in the smoker at 100f/38c with a fan blowing into the chip loader hole. Takes about 24 hours. Mind you, I've never had any that I didn't make myself, so the authenticity is very questionable.

ETA No smoke, only heat and wind.

    Bullets.

LA magazine gives Moon's dinner a 10. Customers say "Its the best and last dish you'll ever eat!"

Times magazine raves "We had to send six tasters just to try it! Our former manager included! that prick, goodbye asshole and everyone loved it!"

A combination of water, hops, malted barley, and yeast. It's to be malted, mashed, lautered, boiled, fermented, conditioned, filtered, and then packaged, in that order. I'm still trying to decide whether I want it to be packaged in a glass bottle or aluminum can. This beverage is meant to be consumed in mass quantities and can produce interesting results such as changes in mood and trouble standing upon such consumption.

Tonight is my daughter's last night home before she moves back to the dorms for her junior year of college. She has requested my family-secret homemade meat sauce over lasagna rolls, with pesto garlic bread on the side.
