Just landed in Los Angeles, from Portland. Think I circumnavigated the country over the last 12 days.
I can sympathize. The man has too much of the old Soviet Union in him, but that many be bias left over from border duty back in the day.
I never got close to the USSR, but I heard Kim Jong-un's forebears' speeches on the loudspeakers at night.
currently making a trailer for my novel on Canva instead of writing lol, drew and animated some assets for it and it looks pretty charming so far
I had a big program yesterday and took the day off today. I'm setting up my writing space now because my plan is to get a second short story ready for submission (I have a Horror one and a Science Fiction one that need polishing but for today, I only want to pick 1 to focus on), AND work on edits on a manuscript.
Cut up a tree partially blocking the road and piled it, along with the crap in the yard and on the shop roof. The wind didn't last long but was pretty fierce for a bit.
Causing at one dealership for a faulty repair 15k job! And praising a second for finding the mistake and getting it covered under warranty.
Decided to work on a reboot of my first big project last night (warrior cats inspired story), 900 words in an hour and a half somehow For some reason even though I have several projects to work on, feral cat political drama is the only thing I can write right now lol
Finishing up my morning perusal of my favorite forums and preparing to go to the annual Superflea Market at the fairgrounds. I DO NOT need any superfleas, but a local fabric vendor is selling her inventory so I'm going shopping for my daughter's business. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I’m sitting in a coffee shop, sipping cappuccino and waiting for a friend, getting ready to revise some poems in a beautiful physical journal without a laptop in sight. Gonna be a good afternoon
