And then your stupid air messes everything up for the rest of us. That's like me farting into the HVAC at church after I've crushed a block of pepperjack.
Same as Earp—haven't seen 20's in a while now. That sounds downright balmy. I'm just happy when there isn't a minus sign on the front.
Which is why, between your winter and your PM, no one can afford to pay me enough to cross the northern border.
You know we use Celsius, right? The average January high is around -1 and the average low is around -8. That converts to a range in Fahrenheit of about 30 - 18. And as far as the PM is concerned, he's harmless! Little bit of a clown, but I think he's got a bad rap on your social media down there.
It's been "cold A.F." here too and I saw other members complaining in another thread as well. The grass outside of my window is frosted white and going outside makes you tremble like a fish out of the water. We're all obviously in different locations so I wonder if its a coincidence or something else. Hmmm... apparently the stratospheric polar vortex is acting up. Not really sure what that means but there appears to be some truth to it.
Oh, I didn't realize this was due to another polar vortex, they've just been calling it a winter storm around here. Yeah, the polar vortices seem to be pretty standard these days.
Spent some time today planning our trip to Orlando in March. So far, we know we are making the drive to Clearwater to swim the Gulf Coast, going to Disney Hollywood Studios, and taking an airboat ride to see the alligators. What else should one do in the Orlando area?
Same state (and near the same latitude) , but you guys get a lot more snow than we do. Doctor's appointment today, then I don't have to go out again this month.
Fahrenheit, Celsius, or Kelvin the scale doesn't matter. A minus sign on the temp means it is too Fing cold, for someone that grew up in the desert!
Depends on whether you're in Colorado or Texas. Airboat ride? Look for escaped boa constrictors in the swamps?
Wow, really??!! The center of SPACE!!??!! And it's in Florida? Whoah,I never knew of this science, but that's really cooool!
No minus signs on the Kelvin scale. 300ish is room temperature, I think. Molecular motion ceases at zero but I don't think that's possible?
