"Been an anus horriblis Last corgi dun died Andrew been investigated by the ole Eff Bee eeyeee Harry and Megan Dun runaway Worried i won't make it to centennial day Just got those down home, shit kicking Windsor castle blues Guitar..."
Consistently refreshing this site and a few others because its late, I'm not tired, and I'm bored of doing shit on my own without human interaction. Hopefully my mind settles down soon. I can tell I'm overtired. On the plus side, I've written and reviewed a shit ton of stuff today. So I guess that's something.
I'm in the process of convincing myself that I'm sleepy as well as tired, but so far, that isn't working all that well for me.
And now, I'm relaxing and sipping my first cup of tea in my new apartment. The past three weeks have been quite a whirlwind—I had to move a lot faster than I would have preferred—but the hard part's done, and now I can take my time and make the place my own.
I would say paying the price for a lack of parental supervision, but I was supervising undistracted and within arms reach. Paying the price for parental misjudgment.
You realize the fun never ends, right? Keeps going right past the point where you get to watch your children deal with your grandchildren. When my grandson was a toddler, my son called me up and said, "Mom, I am so sorry." I asked why he was sorry. He answered, "For whatever it was I did when I was this age."
Haha I can’t blame the boy for that mishap at all. I had finished running wires through the wall and had a quart of paint for touch up work sitting by. He grabs it and starts shaking, and I don’t think anything of it because of course the lid is on tight. Then he throws it and the lid pops off, and all over the wall and my jeans and a huge puddle on the floor. the worst part is the color match didn’t work - it is too light for the wall
Looking forward to Friday, leave another useless week full of 'work' behind. ('work' doesn't mean writing work - kind of obvious...)
Getting ready for a three hour drive in howling wind and blowing snow. Road report says roads vary from slick in spots to dry, but I'm still not looking forward to it. Have an Isabel Allende book on CD to listen to, my dog is going with me, and I get to see family at the end, so all is not lost.
Ive been sick as a dog all week but i got my covid test results back and its negative. I was talking with my mom and she says im just like her; simple illnesses are exacerbated in us. My husband had a cold last week and was fine in 3 days. My "cold" is going on 6 days with a trip to urgent care. Currently, im on the couch hating my lousy immune system. But hey..... At least its not COVID....
Thanks. It had to be an extraction as I suspected. He told me I have three options to replace the tooth and fill the gap, which looks awful, but they’ll all cost well in excess of £200. The one he calls a Maryland Bridge (which I love the wording of) sounds like the best option.
I am sitting in a recliner, taking a break from writing, listening to my granddaughter sleep and the wind blow.
There was tears in my eyes all right, as the anaesthetic still hadn’t really taken effect by the time he decided to wrench the tooth. #unintendedpoetry
