I was hoping you were watching Canadian B movies, because if you were, I'd definitely have some recommendations.

I've suffered from back pain much of my life too because my left leg is longer than the right leg. A few years back, I was introduced to a TENS machine by a local physio.

I was dubious at first because electrocuting yourself seems like a terrible idea, but I found it actually works. It's also cheaper than taking painkillers and doesn't have the nasty cotton-wool-in-the-head side-effects. Plus, they're comparatively cheap on eBay. My unit is old now and lacks the fancy settings of the newer ones, but burst mode with the frequency dialled as high as it can go and gently increasing the power for 30 minutes to an hour does it for me. The endorphin painkilling effect lasts from 1 to 6 hours after treatment.

Shivers involuntarily, shakes a fist in @CerebralEcstasy 's direction and puts on headphones with heavy metal music playing at full volume.

    This.
They really do work. I'm walking proof. Now they have versions that can dampen anxiety, as well. Good news.

A Canadian reviewing Canadian B movies... he has to do it on horseback holding maple syrup for it to count.

In other news the frog has since fallen from the fire truck....there will be a service at noon. Did mange to get a bit done today. Focusing on certain tasks from my overwhelming pile at a time. So the rest of tonight is practicing harmonica and writing poetry. I`m rusty as hell and it`s not my main literary forty, but doing it for personal reasons for a kinda solemn day Wednesday. Not sure where I`m gonna work in shut eye since I want to get sun rise shots and make phone calls during "normal people" hours. Maybe in between those and getting groceries. .....I`d probably be so much heather with better time management. I`m all over the place.

@Mark Burton and @Some Guy Thank you both I`ll look into those.

Hmm, I wasn't aware of the Anxiety treatments using CES. It looks like a slightly different machine and treatment. I found a paper on it. Interesting.

That's OTT, not OTC. There's a small difference.

Discovering that I am unable to write an Amazon review because I haven't spent at least £40 on their site in the last year. Never mind that I have been a customer of their site since 2012, and have bought £700s worth of items over the years.

As with most companies these days, Amazon is trying to hit expectations set by the stock market. If they do, their value increases, the CEO makes more money (per contract), people get bonuses, and the Trump can brag about the great economy. 20 years ago, Amazon would have kissed your butt if you ordered $5 worth of stuff. Now they need to sustain the illusion and keep revenue and profits moving up.

Also, restricting who can write reviews reduces the phony ones and saves drive space times many million reviews.

So it's the usual of profits before people. Good to know.
The irony is that I was planning a detailed and positive review of an item.

Watching Brandon Sanderson talk about writing. Not sure who posted the links, but thanks! Will be adding to my weak middle chapters. :write:

So far this week (and it's early), I've had 4 scam calls and 18 emails from "agents" who LOVE my book and will rep it for money. Lowest $100 Highest $3500. I only remember sending that info out to one place with a crappy first five pages, so I guess they were hacked. Will be invoking the scam phone screen protocols.... need some entertainment. :pop:

FIt`s been the trend for a while. Today`s starting off much better than the last. Feeling quite productive. We`ll see how long that lasts. Sitting down to work on writing now.

IDK what to say with the info provided. Sounds like sharing a soap on a rope somewhere on post housing. o_O

Getting ready to settle in with some two liters, for another night of harmonica and poetry. Might try and wrestle some grub up first. Mentally preparing to. Tomorrow`s a bit of a black hole day..birthday of someone who passed....but basement needs cleaned up for the oil guy of Friday so that`s a good task to occupy the day and mind.

Never did get any sunrise or sunset shots in today..disappointing.
