Hacking into @John-Wayne's book, sneakily replacing all his strong verbs with weak ones. You know, just to give him something to do. Actually, just settling down to watch some playoff football.
, God, no wonder why editing seems like an endless cycle. Should have suspected the squirrel. Stop squirreling with my story, . I got a personal deadline to meet.
Don't believe that football ruse for a second, JW! Look at the expression on that wiley squirrel's face! He's even wearing a fedora! Never trust a squirrel in a fedora, I tell you! Say... @minstrel , was that you my aunt caught gnawing on the porch rails back in November?
Another bad habit I really need to be weary of is my habit of using "With a" "With a smile, with a nod, with a look of confusion, with an amused smile" and then the is "in confusion" erh... bad habits I am workig on.
Dunno. Does your aunt have peanut butter flavored porch rails? If yes, and she lives in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, then quite possibly yes. I'd also advise her to get some porch rails flavored with habanero peppers. We hate those.
Those 3/11 videos must hit awfully close to home, sir, considering where you live. The weird thing is, I've been procrastinating with tsunami videos lately, too. And blizzards. I've had no resistance at all against YouTube leading me down the garden path with blizzards. We've got a bit of snow falling as I write. Enough to be pretty on my evergreens with the Christmas lights still on them, but not enough to be dramatic about.
It's third and ten in the bottom of the seventh! Mahomes drops back - a play-action fake - he shoots, he scores! They're going for a two-point conversion! Oh, no - penalized for traveling! That's two outs! Double fault! They're bogeying this inning for sure! GOOOOOOAAALLLLLLL!!!!
I actually felt the earthquake despite being 500 miles away. Was sitting at the computer on a day off and the building started to roll gently on the waves. I didn't realize it was serious for a few hours, my wife and I were at dinner in a pub with a TV and I saw the clip of the burning houses floating through the rice fields in Sendai, so I sent a hurried email to friends and family letting them know I was nowhere nearby the problem.
There is a game where you had to achieve a certain amount of carnage to gain awards. Not sure what it was called though, but it was really good. ETA: Burnout, perhaps?
Wondering if the slightly morbid irony there`s on purpose. Took me until round the afternoon but I did mange to roll out of bed....then never stopped rolling. Got up went on a three hour grocery run (my mother has a habit of falling for 'End is Nigh" stuff and demanding we stock up but it keeps life interesting and we were really low so I`m not complaining. Something with riots and Marshall law this time. Though with whatever`s going on with EBT...that later could) came home made a rather shitty oven pizza went out to the community arts center I volunteer art. Worked a hip hop style show. Was neat very Flobots feel and style to the group. There first gig, could go places. Like the county fair. Really though they were good. Was busy, don`t do many hip hop style shows but they always bring in the crowd with the...herbal supplements..nothing wrong with that just makes for great business when you`r selling food and snacks. Cleaned up set up for a baby shower. Bought a cd and girl scout cookies. Came home fed my critters, cleaned the kitchen and my room, and i`m not browsing the inter-webs. Feel extra wired, may have over done it on the caffeinated beverages.
