What Are You Doing?

well a little depressed a little bored... so I designed a cover to practice my design skills I use to have... anyways... here's a cheap mock up of a parody cover.

 

Somewhat finished with work progress. Somewhat. Still need to look over some details after a late lunch(pft, some). Also have to pickup the fuzzball from her after school class. Her dad, my older idiot brother an I need to have a sit down later.

And lastly, I will most likely sleep sometime today...sometime....

 

Looking at cables for my new-to-me digital camera that I received tonight. I gave her a card I made in exchange, and then she gave me a hug.

 

Preparing to venture out onto the snowy streets of Burlington and Sedro Woolley, Washington. We rarely get significant snow around here, so plows are few and far between. They are simply not prepared for the snow we've received over the past week, so a lot of roads aren't plowed or sanded. Driving is very tricky - glad I have an all-wheel-drive Subaru!

 

Mostly just listening to the furnace heat me into the poorhouse.

 

Waiting for the delivery of the adapter cable thingamajig so that I can try and access my tablet, make sure everything is backed up, then it's off to the electronics store to start sorting out a new one.

 

For the past couple of weeks we've been having this weird weather where the nights are cold enough to need the furnace and the days are warm and humid enough to require the AC to be comfortable. I don't mind throwing on a hoodie or extra blankets, but any AC setting lower than 78 is too hot and stuffy because of the humidity. I'm not looking forward to this month's bill.

 

Looking for the next Amon Amarth concert in my area. Which is on the 24th of May...here's hoping I can keep that open.

Also finished overseeing homework with the golden fuzzball. Onward, to dinner!

 

Continuing my practice and re-calibrating my design skills once again. One last cover before I make dinner.

That's the most badass grandma on earth.

 

Rained nearly all day yesterday. Heavier rain today.
1pm, just ceased. Still very overcast but now just strong winds.
In Tassie this means sky clearing.

Still no riding...Hulk sad.
Hanger extension arrived yesterday, but no drivetrain mods till weather clears.

Resting on me bed, writing emails, watching vids on a usb stick shoved into me flatscreen, playing Midnight Club posers edition.

Cats are in the dog house with the Contessa. Locked away in her part of the cottage, haven't seen them since the wee hours of this morning.
She's deeply upset they keep killing tiny birds and animals, though it's only Hunter who does this, and she's punishing them by keeping them locked up.

I was about to confront her hypocrisy for she continues to go on killing sprees poisoning rats (bush rats are clean), mice and snails (she's killed far more creatures than these cats ever will)...but reminded myself it's a waste of time and effort to encourage a narcissist to realise something about themselves, especially a negative or non-beneficial trait.

 

A cat named Hunter and she's upset it kills things?

 

So just one more quick one before dinner. .

 

Going outside for an attempt at locating those planets I couldn't find last night (Jupiter, Venus, Saturn), then going to bed early. I'll probably regret turning in because of my 6.5 hour internal alarm clock, but the brain cells are fried and I just fell asleep at my desk. But I wrote today!!!

ETA: Saw Mars but the others aren't up high enough yet. Orion is very clear tonight, which looks cool. Capella is super-bright, and I hope it's a lucky star because it's directly over my bed.

 

I think it would look better if you blacked out the upper left and lower right areas outside the banners.
