What Are You Doing?

I use to read bed time stories to our youngest kid. After that I stay in a armchair in order to stop explorations and to bring security. (I'm sitting there while writing.)

This time story was children poems from the book "Tapahtui Tiitiäisen maassa".



We have read this same book with same poems to three kids and they all love it.

There is some magic in poems for kids.

 

Friend came over to see me. We're out right now, picking up sandwiches to eat and shoot the breeze.

Hurts a little to walk and the pain is really annoying when stationary, but the weather is magnificent. No way some surgery can keep me indoors.

Literally looking for ways to waste time on the internet when I should be writing. Today is the first time I've been able to come up for air -- even for a minute -- from my day job in a week. But instead of writing, I'm surfing. I'm going to open my WIP doc now and get to work.

Well, as I see it, she might be the 'nominated driver' and accidentally drank a glass of wine, in which case she'd have to 'sleep over' in the spare room, then you'd need a hot water bottle, obviously.
Simple really, when you think about it.

 

Well I suppose you say when it whistles, it is screaming...
Though if it were back in the 80's it would be considered metal.

However, when we look at it from an outside perspective it can
even be considered Dark Steampunk, and if you were to add some
neon piping to it, it would become more Cyberpunk/Cyber-Goth.

And in insane theory, what would one use a teapot for in a safe fashoin
with spikes on it in an S&M scene?

Eating an entire (medium sized) haagen dazs strawberry ice cream. The weather is gorgeous outside an I still can't go enjoy it, so I am eating creamy heaven and trying to ignore the blue skies.

Trying to explain Journey to the West to a girl who doesn't have the patience to sit down for a few days and read it. It's only 1400 pages, I read a book that long in a week back in fifth grade. Very entertaining.

Friday tomorrow and I just want it to be two o'clock so I can get home.

I've been sleeping badly since I started working. I've always been a big dreamer and always been able to remember dreams in great details. Once I moved to this apartment i barley dreamed at all, or at least not as vivid. Now I'm back to lots of dreams but they are usually stressful, emotional or right out nightmares which makes me less tempted to go to bed every night.

 

Waiting for the washing to finish so I can put it on the airer and go to bed.

Waiting to see what this headache decides to do. Crap or get off the pot, headache. Blah, I might as well just take a frigging Advil.

 

Finished writing for today, so its onto gaming and snacking. Dinner tonight sucked, so this snack is needed.

Not my normal Friday night, but seeing as I'm bound to the apartment, this is option B and it works. I'll probably read after gaming. Probably. In the morning. So after sleeping, not gaming.

Shopping online for throw pillows, wall hangings, rugs or anything else that will add COLOR to my dark and boring living room. I am not good at this. The decorating reality show people gasp in horror when they enter brown/tan rooms so now I realize I should be ashamed.
