Long good day. Started a tad late due to morning "fun" but who doesn't love surprises?

Feeling tired, need a nice long bath. Face is sunburned, too, so I look like an orange raccoon.

Washing clothes while looking up some tips for Texas holdem. Going to Vegas with some buds of mine again. Never enjoy wasting currency on obviously terrible ventures, but I have some paper on the side to throw away, so why not.

Summer is also going bye bye soon, so that's reason enough to celebrate.

    *looks at his fantasy*

OK, John-John, your Order peeps have this thing where they use runes to restrict the magical powers of a certain group of people.

Runes that seemingly only exist *within* the Order folks, no one else knows of it/has heard of it practiced elsewhere/has access to it. Only these people.

Everyone else is living in a pseudo-medieval fantasy world and they talk about how they can't use magic by their own damn selves, yet the Order people have this rune thing that they *ONLY USE* to control said certain group of people.

And your idea is to basically ignore the potential story angle of the runes in lieu of a civil war story?

    ...

Do I just love shooting myself in the foot or something??

    5:30 am:
    - Rained semi hard all day yesterday, didn't do much in the village, though got all me chores done.
    - Came home had a warm early afternoon meal and dozed off before the sun set.
    - Got up at 10:30 pm, still havin' lots of strange but important dreams.
    - Videoed unpacking of 2nd hand Californication box set, all disks -- no effn kidding -- in glorious PC...YAY!
    - Just finished me lengthy email to me son-in-law.
    - Been searching for various psyche vids on YT, found a whole stack on me fav psych channel, Psych2go, short and sweet and to the point, perfect appetizers for further indepth research if need be.
    - Had this on repeat for the last hour, will continue to do so till it's time for me ride in another hour, and will snag a copy of the original and whack 'em both on my Cowon on repeat for 2 hrs of super happy music during my ride.
˜sings Ca plane du moi, Ca plane du moi, Ca plane du moi, moi, moi moi ˜ while head bangin'.

Hmmm, will see if I can edit me mp3er on me tablet, savin' me firing up me puta.

    How can you ban @Earp?

What's going on, it' s too much, it's silly. Why are you banning old people on the internets ?

we don't discuss reasons for individual bannings - but in general people get banned for breaking the rules.

He's not gone for good - its a one week ban

    Stressing about tomorrow.

Someone I sort of used to know is comming to town to party and I've already cancelled enough times. I don't really wanna go out... and there will be people there I really don't want to meet... but I feel rude for saying no so put partying it is. It's my last time out in Sweden and these people are The closest things I had to friends these past two years...

Anyway... they're comming by early to get ready at my place... even though I live in the next city over. I... don't want guests and I hate guests who can't give me the specific time they'll be here. How on earth will I be able to plan anything?

Just hit the village, guess what I'm listening to? Yep, ca plane du moi cover... loudly.
The bass beat is so delicious, and I like the guy's voice and rendition.

0.6 degrees ride in, checked trees all the way, zero wind, did it in 56. A deserved woo this time. I was actually 1 min quicker by hell hill, then 3 mins quicker at potato rise( top of last hill a few clicks b4 village), but lost time on 2 flat straights to cbd.

I theorise previous ride I had huge tailwind on final straight, hence head wind at beginning of return, hence 54 time and 56 today.

My times are now quicker partially to increased cruising speed, but more importantly due to more stamina on hard sections, which is due to decision to maintain push for longer and with wider ratios, next harder gear is slightly harder than old gearing, thus I can either go back to an easier gear or harden the eff up... I've chosen the latter.

Result, I've gone up a considerable notch in strength n stamina since installing full gearing mods.

    Energetic happy music definitely helps.

I wonder what this guy will be like to deal with.

I have a policy of not commenting negatively on others' appearance, because I wouldn't want that done to me. But for the love of all that's holy (rock and roll, chocolate, penguins, llamas, most forms of music), stop with the cheek fillers, people!

    1. Never play with professionals.
    2. Do something else.
    3. If you have too much money, give it to third world orphanages instead of mafia.
    4. If you want to have fun, you should have fun, not gamble instead of having fun.
