We're batting 500 for jailed governors. Even people who get high and rob gas stations have a lower conviction rate than those who live in the Illinois governor's mansion.

And there lies the rub. Very few get convicted in RI because graft is so ingrained that nobody bats an eyelash anymore. Including the cops who investigate and the judges who adjudicate. Governors and Mayors are patsy lightning rods who stooge for the public and federal headlines. The real mover and shakers operate in the shadows, skimming of the top, laying in the cut, preying on anybody who bids for a construction contract or a liquor license. God, I love this place!

That happens here. Only, the fucker never knocks but manages to leave a pickup slip.

    That's life in the city.

Yeah, they didn't knock, just left it on the step.
The UPS are a bunch of asses when they don't want to
deliver something, they dump it off on USPS and then
I have to drive to town to pick up whatever the lazy
    bastards didn't feel like delivering.

    Sleep. Zombie, need sleep.

One thing I've noticed on this Vegan diet: less energy. Wtf.

    Anywho, you know the drill,

    I mean....yes...but fancier and square.

Away. Melt away. Had me going back and checking I wasn't dropping words in my posts. Melt away as in they melt away in your mouth. It is pretty much a dressed up, reeses cup. If you can get it from a handmade chocolate shop like we have here though. No comparison.

RAMP. Responsible Alcohol Management Program. We use Servsafe here too, pretty sure that`s national. I don`t have that one but I do have a giant textbook thing of it in my closet from the general store days. Had to have that to sell sandwiches and such, well any food but that's what we did. Pizza, to can`t forget the pie. The two-hour course though is brutal. I was nodding off....still passed with ninety percent. Don`t know what the hell I missed.

Yes PA is the most corrupt state. Well no, it`s in the running with Massachusetts. I know they can have that super progressive state image going on but let me tell you as a member (well-bastred son) of an influential family of that state......it`s crooked as hell. The days of the mob in Boston have not come and gone they just went more white collar. PA though is owned lock, gun, and barrel by the natural gas industry though. Harrisburg is their puppet.

Currently sitting down here with a banana proteion shake smoothie thing, saltines and peanut butter...I eat a lot of peanut butter.....to do some writing before going to bed and falling down the rabbit hole of a sold out weekend. Least I get paid soon so I can start taking care of somethings.

First day of school for the brats. Taking the little fuzzball to her new school today. Private school is a little more expensive, but at least her textbooks won't look like they came out of a toilet.

She's excited, I'm happy the brats will be (mostly) locked down until 3pm. Win-win. :p

Found a video. Sent it to everyone. Now you too, forumies, will get it.

    Keep writing!

    Ahem. Need lunch. This Vegan "diet" is killing me. Never felt so tired in my life. >_>;

Can't give up though. Just like that video says.

I'm counting the seconds until Monday.

Friday, still sore lower back, and now both shoulders.
Tension while building is the main cause.

The stuff I made, solid and did the job, but was rough, and due to me watching a lot of machining vids, I really wanna increase my precision, thus a drill press, wood and metal vices are on my wish list (the basics)...including making my own small vices, thus instead of buying them, all I need is a mitre box or mitre cutting system.

Gumtree (online trading post) has a drill press, dropsaw and a large portable wood vice for larger pieces, and a manual mitre cutter (though have to check for spare saw blade availability).
Around $200 all up with fuel, as the items will take a day's drive to grab them all.

I also wanna set aside half my work bench to make a solid flat work area for the precision work, as the bench top was made of separate slices of hardwood.

Once I make a more precise work area and have the basic tools - benchpress and vices, I can start making all the others things I wanna make.

I should be going to bed but can't for several reasons.

First of I'm nervous about leaving my apartment tomorrow. Or rather to have everything finished by then. Secondly I'm too afraid of the dark to be happy about having to turn the lights of on the other side of the room.

I'm also nervous about spending a few nights at my parents place. Things are bound to be awkward and strange after the past couple of weeks. While being there my room is in a hallway between the kitchen and the rest of the house... so not much space for taking a breath and being alone. I'm so looking forward to Tuesday.

If you're looking for precision, don't bargain hunt on the machinery. I bought a bargain band saw once- that thing couldn't cut anything thicker than a formica laminate cleanly, and it was a Delta.

Had a dream about Kanji. Should be a good thing. Possibly.

Need to drink tea. Was looking at real estate in Alaska, land specifically. Doesn't look too bad, though, the weather miiiiight be a bit of an issue.

    Carpe diem!

Last... 4 hours of cleaning. Just mopped the floor in the kitchen and bedroom and... have to wait until I can do anything else.

This move still feels like a dream or something... despite the fact that the only useable furniture I got left in my apartment is a chair...

Eating breakfast in a lonely diner. This is my kinda place - cheap, low noise, friendly staff that leaves me alone. Gotta come here more often.

Sitting on a mop is recommended by 95% of physicians.

The other 5% sat on the stick.

A mop is not a furniture... or a transportation device for that matter!

How would you know? Ever tried... ? It has just been scientifically proven that a significant 5% disagrees with you.
