Lean into it. When I was in the states I used to overplay mine all the time. I was an asset because it made me exotic, but in a safe, homogeneous, non-threatening kind of way.

New info acquired: Danes eat a lot of mashed potatoes.

No. It's just the way they sound. Like a Swede with their mouth full of mashed potatoes!

Are Scandinavians charmingly exotic? I know Swedish women have a good reputation... But I just have the accent to go with.

Also... How exotic is a Canadian to Americans?

In Arkansas, it was a little overwhelming. I don't think they get many Canadians down there.

Swede stuffed with mashed potatoes - deep fry it and you've got a new national dish for Scotland...

(Swede = rutabaga on this side of the pond)

Does it have to be mashed potatoes? What about Nutella? It's stickier.

After they tan perhaps. Scandinavians do tan!

Yes, temp jobs. A great way to get started, as others said. It gets around the Brexit issue.

Qualifications aren't everything. We look at experience and attitude first when recruiting.

Oh, in England always be a hundred times more polite than normal. You literally can't be too obsequious!

The epitome of scandinavian exoticism. She's like an ultra tanned paradise bird. Or bush. Or whatever.

Isn't that part of the Japanese subculture that's obsessed about looking like over tanned Barbie-
dolls? I will not look up the name for it!

I see, found it by searching Ganguro.
Suppose the 'sexy' bit is subjective.
Not really channeling my inner Kirk. :p

In front of a blank paper. I'm trying to motivate myself to finally do this mock exam. Only a few month before the concours. If I didn't have it, I would have lost an entire year of my life to prepare it. And I procrastinate on Internet to avoid confronting myself.

Lemie,, I don't know you, but it's the same in France, I search for a job since 3 years and I have only find some in other country. Guess the Economy in Europe is screw.

˜waves˜ Greetings from Tassie (an artificial island made by aliens of which it exists within it's own space-time bubble - there's a Dark City thing going on here.).
Blank pieces of paper are amazing, full of so much potential...though the paper is a reflection of one's mind. As for avoiding confronting yourself...

"Journeys bring power and love back into you. If you can't go somewhere, move in the passageways of the self. They are like shafts of light, always changing, and you change when you explore them." - Rumi

The Economy in Europe is screw, but on a positive note, your mind and the blank page could get it on and create something interesting, beautiful or amazing.

    Awoke 2:02 'avin' a coffee.
The mow and grass trim took me, with 3 short breaks totalling 10 mins, 4 hrs exac.
The last several square metres were the hardest...had to do that section three times with three different mower heights.
Initially roughly grass trimmed the various long clumps in the yard, then mowed the whole yard at setting 5 instead of 4 ( this is lower).
No sore back, not aching all over, so the long recoup time was a good idea.

Another clear sky this morn, three in a row, unheard of these last 4-5 months.
Will attempt injectors this week, it's been a couple of months since I got all the parts.

Can even install road tyres on treadlee and finalise rest of mods, which are
    - XTR rapid rise rear der.
    - Brand new old model front der.
    - Deore shifters and new cable hoses.
    - Cut bars down to chosen width.
    - Adjustable bar stem and experiment to find optimal leaning position.
    - Toeclip pedals.
    - Buy Connex chain, half decent chain breaker, wheel axle spanners
    - That's about all I have to do do mod the bike to suit me and my riding lifestyle.
...blimey g'vna, I'm tired just thinking about all that...will give that another week after I do the injectors.

I'm sitting bored at work and wonder how my behaviour as a student might affect my behaviour as a writer. Had a long midnight talk with a former teacher of mine yesterday evening.
