The guy I work with never fails to mention this whenever we see one on our travels. He had one many years ago and said it was off the road more than it was on (off as in not working, not off-road).

S2 and S3 were notorious for it... the S3 LWBs was particularly poor. The only car I've ever had that was off road more than my work lightweight was a Jaguar XJS.

the defenders that followed were a lot more reliable, but they were still basic, clunky, noisy things... the day that my then employer went from landrovers to Ford Rangers was a bright day for comfort, speed, and reliability

Gotta appreciate the hobbyist. Ther e looking very nice, extremely impressed.

That`s just me any day I`m at home.

Gonna come out of this looking like Hagrid.

No, no, it`s obviously in club manufacturing.

Pedal? Like a foot pedal transcriptionists use or?

OT: Sitting down after work listening to youtube and making the internet rounds. The hotel should be more or less clean on every floor now not counting the few stayovers (Who are you people?) not quite sure what there is gonna be for me and the one other housekeeper to do tomorrow. Down to only two days on this schedule. One of which it`ll just be and a supervisor. Gonna be interesting to see if we don`t all just fall off the schedule after that.

Managers been pretty good at trying to stretch it out for as long as possible.

Feeling pretty good and mildly productive today, the first day in a while. Think i`m starting to wrap my head around a positive perspective. Kinda glad to be working tomorrow as my father would've been 84 tomorrow and I won`t mind not be home with my thoughts. Sadly can`t go out for a heinakin to toast him like I had planned atm.

What's in AZ if I might ask? I live here :)

We did a parade today to see our students </3 Now I'm just on my couch chillin' while my husband tries to make a bit of money doing Uber Eats and I'm self-isolating haha!

Drinking orange juice and waiting for the melatonin to set in, not sure why I can`t seem to sleep tonight. Normally I`d worry about it affecting work but at this point...there are no rules.

    Gonna be a long day.

It's 6am over here. Woke up at 5 because my dogs needed out. What am I doing? Trying to debate whether to go back to bed, or remain up for the day.

About the same, except for the dog. Lately I've been keeping up with the earthly circadian schedule in the rate of 2/3 awake 1/3 asleep, but instead of of 16/24 and 8/24 it has become 40/60 and 20/60 and I feel more energised than ever. I'm convinced that this is a clear indication that I'm from another planet where a day lasts for 60 hours and since earthlings are out of synch, not imposing their schedules on me anymore, I just slipped back into my tribes normal circadian rhythm again.

Lying in bed... Staring at the ceiling. This week has been garbage work wise and I'm so glad I don't have to do shit tomorrow except see my therapist. We'll sit six feet apart, don't worry.

But that's everywhere in America, though. My town made the big city news once because there was a meth operation flowing in and out of one of our Walmarts. Quality.

If the items from my shopping are any indication... I'd say I'm trying to give myself hyperglycemia. It looks like I got every variety of sugar.

Oh my goodness, yes. THERE ARE SO MANY WALMARTS HERE.

    Queso.
    Rattlesnakes.
    Dust.
    Coronavirus.
    Just...plain Corona.

I'm just glad it's Friday so I don't have any more meetings! Teachers can't really properly teach anymore, so we're just having video meetings galore!!

Just finished watching a webinar from the National Restaurant Association (the other NRA) about our $349 billion bailout package. Very interesting. Very, very, very interesting. Basically, each restaurant can "borrow" 2.5 times their monthly payroll, and if they use the money for retaining/rehiring employees, rent, interest loan payments, and a few other things, the loans are 100% forgivable. As in free. Like totally all the way free.

This is huge for my business and my employees. I don't want to leap out of my socks yet, but the Federal Government may have just saved the American restaurant industry!

This quarantine is going to suck my wallet dry. Way too many books and to-the-door shipping makes a man weak.

I have chosen to purchase a bulk of books, nine to be exact. But a less perfect part of me has persuaded me to round it at ten.

I like literary fiction, especially American, but I am open to all of your suggestions. Non-fiction and poetry is welcome as well.
