Binge-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer (sorry @honey hatter) and having some breakfast. Gotta love holidays (in the U.S.) because my company gives us egregious amounts of days off surrounding them due to the lack of business generated in those times.

 

Drinking a glass of orange juice and going through a 1967 cookbook for recipe ideas...and making a strange face at the number of seafood dishes in which avocados are baked...

 

Just spent about an hour critiquing a story for someone in the horror section, now it's time to mindlessly indulge in more Buffy. It turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of apocalypse.

 

Burning up.

 

Still not cooking, and getting annoyed with my mic issues!!

 

Watching Blood Drive. Pretty crazy show, the cars run on human blood,
and they feed people to their engines to get it. My kind of insane show.

I suppose I should have elaborated and said I'm watching the series, not the movie, though the movie is good too.

 

On a different note, I'm actually writing! I know, shocking on a creative writing forum! I'm nearing the end of my most recent short horror story, They Didn't Need an Exorcist, and I have to say I'm actually pretty pleased with how it's coming out. I don't usually like my own stories, to be blunt, but this one actually catches my attention.

Finished the first draft of the story. Trying to decide if I want to share it on these forums or not. We'll see how much of it I butcher during editing.

 

As a birthday request from my friend, the one who is having a very, very happy birthday I should add, I took one of those Myers Briggs "personality" tests. Now, I don't know the accuracy of this test as last I took it I was an "ENTJ" but this time, a few years later, I'm an "INTJ." I suppose the NTJ is the same....I dunno how these things work. Seems completely useless to me.
