Backup important Files, Pictures and Videos on my External SDHD, so that it can be locked up in a large, insulated, fireproof safe. I can afford to replace my Laptop, but the files are not so easily replaced. Thousands of Pictures, videos and more importantly my Writings.

So, going back to this for a moment, though I feel the Word Count is a bit short... I feel like my books are more like a continuous series of Novellas bound together into a larger book. since most parts are aprox. 20k+ (Give or take a couple thousand words). Even though there is a larger over reaching arch, each part, more or less tackles a single, smaller story arch.

    I.E.
    Kristol of Ancea
Part I - Sort of an introduction to Kristol and her world,
    Part II - War 1
    Part III - War 2
Part IV - Conquest Wars (Including the end game)

The Over arching theme would be what lead to the birth of the Empire and it's rise.

So far Part 1 is aprox. 18k and Part II is 20K+ , ( don't know the Rough's exact word count) but I am almost done with Part II.

So I thought of a really bad riddle that I feel is easy to solve, but I wanted to test it out on you guys.... Wha hah hah hah.... Hah... Hah... excuse me!

    Anyways here we go:

I put some solid material into a container on a window seal, when I came back later the Material was gone, there was no one else around to take it. So what happened to the Solid Materials within the container?

(OR at least I think it's a riddle)

Had a client schedule an appointment with me today at 4:00 so I had to go into work and, while I'm here, I feel obligated to actually get some paperwork I was saving for next Monday done, so I may as well stay for the day.

On the bright side, I just finished said paperwork so I have a good chunk of time to work on editing my latest story. Trying to decide whether or not I want to post it on here, we'll see how it turns out.

Getting ready to bounce out the door an into the frying pan of a city. Former lab members want me to come see a, quote: "Amazing find!" they....found. Since this would count toward lab-time, I'm all in.

Just had to investigate the mysteries of the fuse box. Turns out it wasn't very mysterious after all. All I needed to do was flip a switch. That said, I will now have to contact the maintenance man, as it was my immersion heater being turned on that cut the power to all my plug sockets. No hot water until I do that, so that's a hell of an incentive! As it happens, I need to get a new tenancy done, and give him some forms so I can finally apply for Rent Allowance. With that sorted, I'll have more money to hand, which means I can save for other things...like plane tickets, or something :D !!

    Serendipity, anyone? ;)

Been answered I see, but window "seal"?? "Sill" perhaps? And "no one" usually refers to people, not crows, cats, racoons etc, so I'd lawyer my way through with that.

    Neuroscience.

But it turns out this "amazing find" was just an excuse to get me over there. The lab rats, all 26 of them, escaped and they needed extra hands seeing how there was only two members there at the time. Those fuckers can be right terrifying once they get out. Well, the ones without medically induced brain damage.

I helped them, under the condition that they "discover me some free lunch," which they did. :p

OT: Going to Japanese class then spending the day with my classmates, practicing. Should be fun.

    Fuck Kanji.

I don't know why, but the visual I got in my head was hilarious....Sounds like the lab rats got together the night before and did some serious plotting. ;)

Making coffee. I was up too late last night and slept in.

Trying to wake the hell up after yet another night of crappy sleep. Sitting at four hours combined in the past two nights. Hate these sporadic insomniac periods I get.
