That's a problem I never have. I'm a regular library patron. I also buy books cheap at yard sales, garage sales and flea markets (called "swap meets" in some parts) as well as library sales and used book stores. Sometimes the flea markets will let you take a whole bag of books for only a dollar or two! I also am on the e-mail list at Borders and Barnes & Nobel. I buy books every time they e-mail a good coupon. My "to read" stack is almost as tall as I am, and I'm a constant reader. Do all these things and you'll quickly go from your current problem to my problem: too many books! Charlie
I'm 73% (what my iPod tells me, I don't actually know) of the way through A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. Pretty awesome story. I think I'll read the rest of the series. If he ever finishes it.
I'm actually waiting until Friday to start reading this book. I can't wait! The Six Rules of Maybe by Deb Caletti
Just read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and it's sequel,Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator in the past 24 hours lol. 'Bout to start 101 Dalmations.
^ Those are great. That's why I loved the 2nd movie, with Johnny Depp--it was so much more like the book!
I finished the Alchemyst and I'm now onto the sequel, The Magician Once I finish this one, I finally get to read the Sorceress! I'm so excited! I've been waiting for that book to come out for a year or two now and I finally got it this christmas
Ijust read 'the story of two states' by chetan bhagat...spontaneous in style, realistic design, and passionate rendering
Reading The Dreaming Void again beoofre book three comes out (Void triology) again. I'm loving space opera (what took me so long)
I actually just finished It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini today, and it was the best book I have read in a long time.... wow.
How are you liking it so far? I found the series to be an easy-to-read and enjoyable treat, especially after heavy reading.
I love the series. It's one of my favorites, although I think the whole lemur thing for The Time Paradox was a bit stupid. A lemur, really? Anyway, it WAS very good.
"Brother Odd" by Dean Koontz "Modern Land Law" by Mark P. Thompson And an article on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
I'm reading .....DUNE. only about a fifth of the way through it and already I can see massive events being hinted at by the narrative. I love how complex and absolutely perfectly composed each page is.
"The Hunger Games" series (terrific, i can't wait for the third book to come out in august!) and the "Graceling" series (once again, can't wait for the third book to come out!) they are just an amazing set of books for all of those fantasy fans out there
I need to find where to buy it but as soon as I do, I shall be reading: Final Exits: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of How We Die by Michael Largo Not your average reading but I don't care!
