12 monkeys, Memento, Sin City, No mans Land, Behind Enemy Lines, and Me Myself and Irene are my favorites. Watching 12 monkeys always inspires me. It's one of those movies that has such a deep field of meaning. Also the scenes with Brad Pitt being crazy is hillarious. Edit: children of men too, that movie was awesome.

I wish this thread didn't exist. I want to write, not talk about movies... but, considering I'm studying film, I'm drawn to this self-expres-structive of absurd film love/soul-fusion that no one will understand but I. Favorite movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey Sherlock Jr. Sullivan's Travels Under the Roofs of Paris A Canterbury Tale Note: It's because of film I wanted to write: explore structurally semiotic relationships of visual perceptiveness either invoked or impressed... etc. Every one of my poems subtitled is based on a movie. [/film revelation]
Eoz hit the mark! Transformers dominates. And the latest Harry Potter to, for Emma Watson. Up and coming is also Bonny Wright or what ever her name is.
Some of my faves, and in no particular order are: Lost in Translation Natural Born Killers Groundhod Day Beavis and Butthead do America Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Fight Club Underworld Pulp Fiction Il Postino Leon Goodfellas Enemy at the Gate
One flew over the cuckoo's nest- Great movie, what more can I say Interview with a vampire- I found this movie to be brillantly done

Alright I'm gonna have to write down stuff that I actually haven't seen much of here... Indiana Jones (the whole trilogy)- Harrison Ford brings to this character such an element of suave and badass that should make Andy Garcia cry like a baby. And for me, every scene is unforgetable. A total man flick, though...ha. Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen- I've heard that some people had beef with these movies. Too cliché (in the way of staging some of the most ridiculous, albiet impossible heists conceived by humans?), too confusing, poor acting. Well I'm not really your source on acting or movie production, but all the characters in my opinion are played with aplomb. Hero (with Jet Li)- This one's a little different for me, but nonetheless special. The visuals in this film are absolutely stunning and moving to say the least. All cinematography includes a change of colors as the story changes. If you can't stand those float-in-the-air-forever martial arts scenes, well, stay away from this one, but other than that there is a lot happening here. Borat- If you've seen this movie, there are almost no words to describe it. George of the Jungle- Same with this movie. And also, I first saw this movie when I was about 9 or 10. I still laugh my ass off whenever Ape does anything.
