Hi, Two things spring to mind. The first is that the Earth is the best show on tv. Would you want to destroy your tv even if you don't like all the shows? You still want to be entertained. The second relates to your godling child. Not personally of course. But the very existence of such a being creates an entirely new understanding among the elder gods - they can have children - but apparently only with Earth girls - because as everyone knows - Earth girls are easy! That's a game changer for them as they were destined to be childless immortals etc. Now every god wants one - just to see. But also some gods see it as dangerous - the next generation rising up to destroy the first one - the ancient Greek gods against the Titans etc. Cheers, Greg.
