What do you call this type of suit?

My wizard skills with internet searching have failed me. What do you call a shiny expensive suit like this

What is the name for that material?

I don't know about material, but I think they're called 'sharkskin' suits.

erebh: thank you! yes, they are the expensive, wool kind. Ouch, polyester suit. Haven't seen one of those in ages :)

sanco: that's a really cool expression, perfect for my purposes. Thank you :)

Wreybies: thanks for confirming it. Sharkskin suit it is. It's more perfect than I even imagined, my character that wears it is quite a shark. I'm gonna have fun with this one :D

Oi! Some of us eschew such stereotypes. I, for one, like to think we are more lizard-like. :p

I really like the term sharkskin suit. I'm filing that away for future use. :)

It's not fair to single out lawyers, Cogito. Sharkskin suits fit all types of crooks.
