Hey, so I'm just coming back from another small hiatus and notice the lounge, where I usually get my dose of gees and chatter is gone. (Say whaaaa???) I know I'm late to this party but can someone catch me up?

Apparently a glitch rendered the Lounge kaput, so we're here trying to keep ourselves sane until it's fixed up.

Well, I mean, it might make a nice way to free up the forums or something. Who knows its a good move if the intention were to, say, refocus. I also wouldn't be surprised if it were sabotage. (-.- )

    Blasphemy!!

But seriously, I doubt it was sabotaged. If it were, Daniel and the others would've told us, right?

    ... RIGHT!? :bigeek:

Do you guys remember how I kept saying, "it's up," and you all got mad at me because you saw it wasn't there?

I actually wasn't lying. The lounge is back up, in fact it might always have been. The lounge has been made invisible to certain members. I need all of you to look back on your past experiences in the lounge. Surely there is something you must have done wrong to make worthy of exile. While you guys are stuck here, scratching your asses, the good forum members who behaved themselves are having a BLAST in the lounge.

    It's painfully obvious, Link.

The forum went down on April 26, 2016. When you add those digits up, you get 21 (assuming 4 for April). If you subtract 21 days from April 26, you're at April 5, the exact date on which, in 1258, Juliana of Liège died. Juliana lived in a time of class turmoil, and was eventually hounded out of town by an evil establishment figure. Do you really think it is a coincidence that our efforts for social justice in the Debate Room went dark exactly when they did? Think of the odds!

Or maybe it was just some weird, freakish glitch that's currently being worked on? :p :D

The only thing I don't get is why you're here, Link. You're a perfect forum member....perhaps, too perfect...

@Link the Writer I think he is with the Illuminati matrix guys. Don't trust him, don't believe a word he says. He is with them now.

OK, I didn't want to say anything, but when my forum account was going crazy and I was able to momentarily see the lounge, which I am exiled from as well, (for supporting Steerpike in his merciless Clinton supporter bashing), I was also able to see a a very secret user score for every member.

Link, yours are off the chart...I've never seen anything like it.

Is (...was?) there an NBA thread around here? All my IRL friends only want to talk about college bball, because they're a bunch of hipster doofuses.

    Random Thought time!

I don't like being wet. I had to go to Lowe's today (to pick out another new washer and dryer and also bring my husband his cell, which he left at home) and it started raining before I could get into my car. It wasn't heavy. Just a light drizzle. I figured I'd just let it dry up on it's own. But then as I was driving, it started to irritate me. Felt like... gross, dirty water that shouldn't be on me. So I wiped it off at a stop light and felt much better.

I never realized it was a thing until today. I can handle showers, baths, swimming pools, etc. But as soon as I get out, I have to get dry. Most people I know just get out of the pool and sit in the sun to let themselves dry. I've never been able to do that. Always gotta towel myself off until no more water is on my skin (except the wet suit, of course).

    I'm weird.
