I feel like this song (this band?) was created in the wrong decade. Girl's got a lot of Janis Joplin qualities. The lyrics aren't particularly happy, but it makes me happy because it's from a place we've all experienced -- not entirely sure what's going on, but taking it as it comes.
Oh and this one always improves my mood, especially when my motivation to write is low. It's one of my main muse songs.
It just came on the radio, otherwise I wouldn't have thought to post it. Always puts a smile on my face.
Haha. I like the ones you've posted here. Looks like the happy song thread is currently getting more traffic than the sad song thread. I guess Iz could go in either one.
Unlike some of Morrissey's other cheery tunes such as Death Of A Disco Dancer or Meat Is Murder and despite the title, this has to be the happiest little tune and guaranteed to always makes me smile - from the iconic Strangeways Here We Come Album.
