So the other day at work, I had to attend a %&@#ing compulsory two-hour seminar about "Celebrating our Differences" and other obvious bull. (It was all about why racism was bad, mmmkay). And everyone had to attend, no exceptions. As a result, I fell behind on my work, it just piled up, so I fell behind until late yesterday, when I finally got through it all. So it reminded me of this song ...
For me it'll always be this. Reminds me of the best moments of being a mom....so far that is. Watching Matilda with both my children was pure delight. Hearing the song brings a flood of memories. All of them good. It's likely that once they've moved out, it'll make me cry. For now however, it only brings joy. Also, the Reading Rainbow theme comes in a close second.
