:-O! I had forgotten about the new Batman movie. How exciting I'd also like to see that and I Am Legend. AVP-R, too, and I know that comes out in 2007, but I won't get around to seeing it till 2008 Would also like to see Sweeney Todd. Not sure what else. Oh, and the Golden Compass. And Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
I don't really know what's coming out in 08 but I'm looking forward to Batman: The Dark Knight. FYI Spider-man 4 planned release in 09 or 10. Yeehaw.
While, no offence, the Spiderman movies are terrible, I can't wait to see what they do with the Lizard Scientist (favourite character). The Dark Knight Get Smart 3:10 to Yuma Atonement Into the Wild The last two I could see before '08 but oh well.
Is that the one with Steve Carell? Goes for me as well. Yes, The Lizard is a probable main villain for Spidey 4. And yes, while the Spiderman movies are not great literature, I don't they're terrible. They entertain, which thus means they already succeed in their aim, right? I'm probably also inclinced to liking it, being a fan of the comics.
Certainly does star Steve Carell. Well the action sequences are entertaining I'll admit. The dialogue is my main problem, though. Still, they do achieve what they set out for and they've all raked in the cash.
Indiana Jones is a definite YES During the trailers before Sweeney Todd I noticed something: Movies seem to be getting better. Of course, that's based on trailers, but I'm a horrible cynical monster. Saw a trailer about a rich kid who gets put in public school after getting kicked out of private school, and he starts scamming his private shrink to pass on the help to other kids. Saw one for a movie called Vantage point: Political thriller where the president gets assassinated, only not really, and eight people noticed something they shouldn't have. and then I saw Step Up 2, and realized that it's not really cynical if you're right. I'm surprised no one said Cloverfield
definetly will want to see Indiana Jones. Chrystal compass. just finished all three books. Spiderwick. not get smart. it would just be too lame. not spiderman. is Iron man from the cartoons, or something else altogether? I will have to wait for them to come on DVD or pay TV.
Ironman is another comic book movie. I saw a poster for a movie where Jack Black plays a panda that knows Kung Fu. I facepalmed. What is Spiderwick?
Spiderwick as far as I can tell is a fantasy world that either is coming into our or a child has gone into Spiderwick. It is an older kids movie I think. But it looks interesting in the ads.
Thanks Myst. I think in the new year I will visit the library and see if they have the books. I saw an interview with the author on TV and the books sound kind of interesting. Definetly want to see the movie.
