Wait wait wait, they're making a Dark Tower movie, AND Hasselhoff is going to be in the Knight Rider movie? Is Knight Rider a continuation of the show or an alternate version? Oh, because I was bored and wiki'd Knight Rider, as having been born at the tail end of the eighties, I've not seen it:
I want to see that "In the Name of the King" movie. Its based off an old game that I really love. Hope they dont kill it....
Charlie Wilson's War, Juno, Sweeney Todd, Walk Hard, National Treasure 2, that new Batman movie, Cloverfield, Get Smart, Indiana Jones IV, Vantage Point...and geez, I'm probably forgetting a thousand others.
I am not alone- I think that's the title of the movie- Has Will Smith in it. He has a dog for a side kick and basically the last man on earth after everyone got wiped out by a biologically human made disease, or something like that!
What Movies Do You NOT Want To See In 2008? ...none of the slasher/hacker/pornish poop so pervertedly prevalent and popular now...
Rambo (I know I know.. I'm a pathetic person ) and The Dark Knight. Possibly Indiana Jones although I haven't decided yet..
Of course I nearly forgot John Rambo. I am really looking forwards to seeing this one Rambo IV the trailer certainly sells the film as one to watch but the storyline is also convincing. Have a look for yourselves Here...
They're making a movie for one of my favorite book series, Uglies. If they screw it up I'm going to kill them (not really, lol.) And, supposedly, they're going to get started on Harry Potter 6. Again, if they ruin it, they are so dead. Other than that, I can't really think of anything. I'm just going to see what movies come out and decide whether they're worth watching or not.
I've seen I Am Legend, it's great. Very, very sad, though, I cried a few times throughout it. It was a little disappointing, but Will Smith was great and it was very original. ETA: The Golden Compass was good, too. The animation alone was amazing and the acting was very good. The story was also a little disappointing and they cut a lot out, but it was still very good.
Isn't that always the way when they make a movie from a book. That is the joy of reading, you paint your own picture, and get every detail. Thanks for the heads up on both!
Wasn't I Am Legend a spin off of The Omega Man, and that a spin off of Last Man On Earth? I loved the movie, Will Smith did a great job. I wanna see The Dark Knight, Of corse the Harry Potter movie, Colverfield, Fan Boyz. lol
I guess I'm the only one who despised I Am Legend.. And that's probably because I adored the book. *sigh*
Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon. It's based on the book Romance of the three kingdoms. I think it's either going to be really good or complete crap!
Then you would also like an animated series Koutetsu Sangokushi. It too is loosely based on that book. Koutetsu Sangokushi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I want to see One Missed Call looks spooky.
I saw both Cloverfield and Juno today. Cloverfield was really good until the last 5-10 minutes. The monster was good at a distance, pathetic close-up. In fact, after all the months of speculation it ended up partly resembling the Chimera from the PS3 exclusive game, Resistance: Fall of Man. Juno, however, was amazing. It's quite possibly my favourite movie. If not, it's at least a joint winner with American Beauty. Excellent script with sharp, funny dialogue. All the characters were great. I just loved its indie mood. The soundtrack backed this up.
As did I. I suppose I just think that the new film is so much better than the previous attempts. I'd like to see Cloverfield myself, just to see what the fuss is about. What is Juno?
