    What shall I focus on?

Discussion in 'Fantasy' started by I.A. By the Barn, Nov 24, 2015.

I'm terrible at focusing, so could you help me out here? I'm writing two things at the same time and it is just making both not go well, so I ask you which shall I go with?
Shall I go with the planned stand alone sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, fantasy murder mystery?
Or the planned historical, fantasy, adventure romance trilogy?
    I really don't know.

Maybe a list of pros and cons for either decision might help.

I usually go with what I'm more interested in at the time. I was working on a novel in late summer - House of Cadre and switched when I came up with the idea for In The Pit. Even though I had lots of details and scenes and almost an entire first chapter and nothing for In the Pit I switched. It's not that I don't like my other story it was that I found myself more involved and drawn to the other one.

Toss a coin and commit to sticking by the result.

Thank you everyone! From both tossing a coin and making a list of pros and cons, I've decided on my murder mystery!
