One of my discovery's was on this forum. I had written a lot of what I called poetry , but I found out they were without a lamb or foot or something like that, and I had to put my tail between my legs and limped off. Now I'm wondering what I should call my hundred or so, used to be poems that are now stacks of words that rhyme sometimes.
That didn't sway me from writing and I am now more focused on my fiction.
I bring this up because, when we are somewhat without critique we have a tendency to think were okay. There was a saying that was written many years ago, that the isolated become wise in their own eyes. So what I'm saying is that maybe writing is not your forte, like me I am not a poet and I'm fine with that.
